Me and my husband spent 5 nights at Sequoia Lodge. |Everything was perfect! The rooms were breathtaking with the most beautiful views of the sunset. |The staff were all very friendly and attentive.|The breakfast was great, lovely to have the option of delivering to our room. The Earl grey tea was delicious! They were so kind to give me a bag to take home.|Very peaceful setting with stunning views.|We enjoyed the nature walks, lazing round the pool, wine tasting and the tranquility. We even got to see Charlie the Koala up in the tree by the staff car park - which was very special.

My wife and I have always enjoyed visiting Mt Lofty on our trips to Adelaide and this year we decided to include a stay at the amazing Sequoia for a few days to celebrate her birthday. Despite the drizzly weather over Easter we had a warm welcome and a most relaxing stay in our suite. It was definitely an experience as special as we had wished. Staff were really helpful prior and during our stay by arranging beautiful roses and balloons for my wife, a lovely handwritten card and managing to get us into the restaurant and day spa at short notice despite the many public holidays at the time. The views, breaky and service in the Main Lounge were exceptional and the Lodge grounds lovely to soak in. Thank you for all the surprise sweet treats during our stay as well! We look forward to visiting again sometime soon.

My wife and I just returned from a fantastic weekend at Sequoia Lodge, and we can't recommend it highly enough! The stunning surroundings of towering sequoias create a magical atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at peace.

Our room was beautifully decorated, with breathtaking views that made waking up each morning a dream. The highlight was definitely the on-site restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious meals crafted from local ingredients, all served with impeccable service.

Sequoia Lodge is the perfect romantic getaway for couples looking to reconnect. We left feeling rejuvenated and can’t wait to return!

We were very lucky to get a room for Easter Sunday. Sequoia prepared a wonderful itinerary for us, organising dinner at 3-hatted Hardy's and a koala experience at Cleland. The staff was wonderful, special mention to Elisa at the lodge and Pietro at Hardy's. The accommodation was amazing. We will definitely be back, not having time to explore Mount Lofty and surrounding vineyards this time around.

Sequoia is set in a tranquil and picturesque location. From the mixology class to the Artesian hot springs this place is an ideal location for couples wanting a get away. The view from our room was truly amazing and the food in sequoia lodge was delicious. The heated bathroom floor was well received with the colder weather. Would definitely stay again

Our stay at Sequoia was one of the best experiences in our 20 year history of travel. The duty managers Isidora and Parth were amazing and their attitude trickled down to everyone that took care of us. No request was too hard and everyone went out of their way to take care of us. Rooms are spectacular but the service is what shines through. |The only feedback I have is the lack of reliable transportation from the lodge to other areas in Adelaide. Taxis were always late so we used Uber and it was a mixed experience. No fault of the hotel but something to keep in mind if you don't rent a car during the stay.

I was not particularly impressed, and had they asked for my feedback I would gladly have shared it privately. Mixed feelings.

While clearly it's a nice property, I think they do oversell themselves. It gives the impression of a nice property but understaffed (the staff generally did try very hard though!).

We booked for our honeymoon and planned meticulously ahead of time. However, already from the beginning, it took them longer than should be expected to respond to emails and booking requests.

On arrival, the car was not waiting for us as agreed, but ok, it was easy enough to connect eventually.

They then asked us to pre-order our dinner because we arrived late. A very limited menu, didnt look very appealing, so we asked for cheese. Despite ordering ahead, there was a meaningful wait for this.
The cheese "platter" itself was rather minimal.

The hotel is near some large telephone antennae which may be somewhat unsightly, but to be honest the view over the city is quite nice.

We were told on arrival that
1. The pool would be closed (due to last minute refurbishment)
2. Our koala experience was cancelled (due to heat, which we understand)
3. The stargazing wasnt possible (due to the aforementioned refurbishment)

Ok.. you know what, these things happen.. But a bit disappointing for a honeymoon. Especially since we were only there for 2 nights.

They offered us to use the pool of their sister hotel instead, and anyway it was cloudy so the telescope wasnt going to help so much. So while disappointing, we didnt let it bother us too much.

Then I have to say it did improve, some staff did try to make amends. The spa was quite good. And we had a lovely picnic.

Then comes dinner, when it was not really clear to us that the casual restaurant at Mount Lofty has no seats on the window side as those are all reserved for the fine dining gourmet restaurant... A bit unfortunate that this is how honeymooners are treated to be honest...

The room was quite decent, and the breakfast was great!

Overall, I personally felt a bit in a rush to get out and move along to the next property, I even checked if I could get a room at the next hotel sooner.

Flawless luxury stay. We felt totally comfortable, relaxed and pampered at this lodge. Lots of activities to choose from and plenty of nice spaces to chill. The fixtures/fittings are next level. Food was delicious and the spa was lovely too. Would love to be back for longer one day.
