Stayed one night and aged five years. The room smelled like wet carpet and regret. Bed felt like it was stuffed with loose change.

Honestly, I’ve had warmer interactions with a ranger giving me a parking fine. I’d rather sleep in my car with the windows down during a thunderstorm.

👍Great little apartment, central to the cbd. We stayed for the AFL gather round and the location was fabulous. Bed was comfy and it was quiet.
👎 We expected the price to be dearer but it was quite extravagant compared to normal rates. The bathroom needed a good scrub and there was hair all over the floor 😩

Would not stay here again.
Obviously ‘luxury apartment’ is code for doors that don’t close properly (room door you have to slam to shut and ensure people can’t access your room), inoperable phones, bar fridges you have to defrost yourself before they are usable, ripped and burned ironing boards, and irons that spray brown water all over your clothes.
I literally arrived late this afternoon, and this is my experience over the past few hours… I’m here for the rest of the week!
The staff are genuinely lovely, but the facility is tired and poorly maintained.

*update : their on-site guest laundry facilities just destroyed my business shirt for my meetings this week.

Great location. Booked without realizing that check in was after hours (reception shuts at 5pm) but pick up of our keys was easy from their sister property on hindley st. They were quick to help me organize an extra bond so I could have the late arrival. Apartment was very well priced and in a nice quiet St but close to walk to everything. Would stay again. Thank you.

I strongly recommend not to stay at Frome Apartments in Adelaide CBD. We originally had planned to stay at this accommodation for 6 nights, but after the first night, we decided that we could not remain at Frome apartments and moved to an AirBNB due to a number of reasons. The apartment is very outdated, the kitchen is in need of repairs as a draw is broken and could not be opened. There are hardly any utensils and pots etc in the kitchen to cook with. The cleanliness of the kitchen was not acceptable. We could not use the dishwasher as we found old food at the bottom of the dishwasher and the odour from the dishwasher was offensive. The bathrooms are extremely small and outdated. The chairs in the dining room and the couches in the living room are full of stains. Their website mentioned that parking was available, but when we inquired prior to checking in, Frome informed us that they had run out of Wilson Parking cards. They allowed us to park in their underground parking basement, but did not inform us that the entrance to the car park is so tight, and we unfortunately damaged the side of our vehicle exiting the car park. We really hope that Frome Apartments takes note of this review to improve the quality of the apartments, so no one has a similar negative experience like we did.

I would like to say that the staff at the counter are useless and numb. Even if you asked for a little bit of help, they would bureaucratically reply to you to ask help from the owner of the property. If you asked the contact of the property owner, they would say “I don't know”. The numbest neighborhood I have ever seen in a community.

The location wasn’t amazing, the price was just slightly cheaper, and the rooms are very outdated. There is weird spots that looked like mold on the pillow cases. Stains on the couch, pillows, etc. overall I would just spend a couple of bucks on another place next time.

If your a smoker thinking you can smoke on the balcony, do not bother!! Not only do they have a no smoking on the balcony policy, the "balcony" is so small only 1 person can stand on it at a time and you have to shuffle around the doors just to close them. Room was below size compared to pictures shown on website and the "kitchenette" is a tiny warped cupboard at the end of the bed. As this was just a date night in town for us, we actually left half an hour after arrival as it was never gonna be a comfortable night. Staff were all good, no problems there
