Great location. Very close to Glenelg beach and jetty road. Lovely clean room. Excellent, comfortable bedding. Quiet room. Bathroom outdated (bath/ shower) but works well. Suitable for a short stay.

Only spent the one night and sufficient enough. Bed comfortable and bath room adequate. Had a digital password to get in so very convenient I didn't have to go through a reception desk.

Have stated here multiple times as a last resort. Each stay I have had my sleep and general peace disturbed by noises such as running water, toilets flushing and housekeeping talking loudly at my door. This last day was by far the worst. I was woken up by the horrendous noise each day. I had a smoke in the room because I was half asleep and not thinking and was spoken to disgracefully by a maintenance man. Maintenance guys are always around but no staff around. Last time a different Maintenance guy was in my room doing something to the TV and i told him i dont need it. He left then came back and said the people who check in after me might want it, he just messed around with the channels and I had to go out but he wouldnt leave so i had to leave with him still in my room which i did not like. I emailed the motel and explained, I aired the room out but still paid $150 because they "might" have to put a machine in however I checked out the following day and there was no smell. When I was leaving my car wouldn't start and even if it did, I was blocked in by a maintenance guy. I had to charge my jump starter and was sitting in my car with the bonnet up. The disgusting maintenance guy came up and asked me where the towels were. I told him they were on the bathroom floor, he said the ones from the cupboard,I gave him the same response and ge said well they're not. He then said how long till your car I'd fixed because we want the car and you off the property. I told him I was charging my jump starter and he asked how long it would take and again, told me to get off the property. A female then came out and asked if i was ok, I told her he accessed me of stealing towels and she said thats probably because they arent in the room. I said they are on the barhroom floor and you can check my belongings but she ignored that and asked about my car. No point emailimg them because i got no response from night my email i sent with a video of the noise that woke me up day and night. I have videos from each visit and ill be contacting consumer business services and choice management group. No staff offered to jump start my car evdn though i also had jumper leads out. The bath was filthy, skirting boards coming off the wall and my door which I locked and closed was open when I returned. I won't stay here again.

From arriving to a closed reception at 2pm to a leaky tap that dripped the entire stay to being to worried to even mention it because of all the warnings on costs incurred (as pictured) to a bed that I’d liken to sleeping on a floor. This place certainly didn’t win us over in any way whatsoever ||I have to say the location is fab! 5 min walk to Glenelg Ferris wheel, and tram stop. Pubs and eateries. 5 mins to Dan Murphy’s and Coles we didn’t need or want for a car this stay. So this was lovely and convenient.||The rooms however are a 3 star at best. Popcorn ceilings, old stained carpet, 80s style fridge and uncomfortable beds. A view of only the carpark from your room, and unless you want people to see in you have to keep the curtains closed and we even had to hook the curtain over the door knob or you could see into the room. The sink tap dripped the entire stay, the shower when using it shudders loudly in the wall unless u turn the taps to a certain spot. Despite non smoking signs our neighbour smoked outside her door. |We’ve stayed 4 nights due to pre paying thru booking.com otherwise we would have tried to change our stay to elsewhere |Haven marina in Glenelg is MUCH better and cheap

Great budget rooms right near the foreshore in Glenelg. Room was comfortable although a little dated but served its purpose

Basic motel but very good value. Easy access to room, Comfortable bed, nice shower, plenty of tea and coffee in room. A 3 minute walk to Jetty Road for tram, restaurants, pier, shops and a 3 minute walk to bus stop for J1 bus direct to airport. Definitely recommend this motel.

Trip started off rocky as communication was vague.
I had booked two rooms, meant to be adjoining but weren't.. .
I had to ring staff on my arrival as I still hadn't received codes and needed adjoining rooms sorted. Staff fixed this.
One room had a very tacky bathroom with enamel missing all over the bath, taps were wrongly labelled. Fridge was rusty. Air con very old and noisy... curtains weren't hung properly so had very bright light coming through all night.
Second room had a drain blockage so water from shower was hard to contain. Better air con and fridge but very small TV.
Both rooms were meant to have complimentary breakfast but there was none. Very disappointing.

Upside though.. great location...and free parking.

It’s passable; scores a 7 on booking.com, which is overly generous. Location and price are the big drawcards - can be noisy (other guests, traffic). Classic budget motel - it’s fine for a night or two, but if your budget allows it - stay someplace else for 3 or more nights .
