Between 6am and 11pm, there will be a plane taking off every few minutes. It's not too bad during the day but early hours in the morning or late in the evening, they can get very loud. The rooms can do with better sound proofing and perhaps double glazing on the windows and balcony sliding doors. The street that leads to the car park and back entrance is not safe after dark. There is also no access control to different floors. Anyone can get up the lift through to any level. The only security that protects us is the door to the room.
I still score this hotel 4 stars for its very reasonable room rates. The location is also amazing as everything is just conveniently located within walking distance. There is also a tram stop in front of the hotel main entrance in case walking is not your thing. The staff was very friendly and greeted me every time I walked pass the front desk.

Centrally located but quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Good size clean rooms but no view in our two. No restaurant but plenty with walking distance (the food hall in the hospital opposite is open to all and has good food). The airport bus stops a couple of streets away at the rear of the hotel, less than five minutes walk.

We booked a deluxe double which is one category up from the standard room. Apparently the only difference is that deluxe rooms are on a higher floor. This sounds great we thought. When we got to our deluxe room on the 4th floor, it had only a small window which looked at an internal wall. When I asked reception, they said that some rooms are internal. If this is the case, why would you book a deluxe double room on a higher floor and pay more for the room? The room was so depressing that we checked out immediately and booked another hotel. The room was non-refundable. Perhaps the hotel allocates the internal rooms to guests that booked non-refundable rooms because that’s the only way they can sell them. |On their website it states that some standard rooms are internal but only show the rooms with a view. I guess you get what you pay for. The hotel is cheap but don’t ruin your trip because you want to save some $$.

Great hotel, in a great spot close to good eating spots and the tram to get you to the entertainment centre or the mall. Beds are mostly comfy. It's a little bit dated but has everything you need. And they have car parking, which you can buzz them on entry n tell them you're booking in and then you can go park, grab your bags and enter from the carpark entrance...so much easier 😁

Fantastic for a budget hotel. Great location for hospital and entertainment centre ET is a brisk 20 min walk but trams are very close. Trams get packed when events on so we walked. Close to local cafes and pubs but also a short walk to central city or you can get a tram. Rooms comfortable and clean. Just what you need if out and about.

Good for a short stopover. In walking distance to town centre, station, plus convinient location to catch a bus to the airport (c.5 min walk to a bus stop).Kettle, fridge, mini bar etc in the room. Luggage storage available.

$4 for a bottle of water, $25 per night parking. No microwave. Wear-out chair and cupboard, ancient toilet and shower taps. There is not much services provided by the receptionists, not sure why they have two to three receptionists during the day. Great location with free tram services from City West or 15 mins walk to cbd.

Rooms are large and pretty much up to standard as expected for a basic hotel. Service staff don't have the courtesy to look up from their phone/computer to greet you. Parking is "available" but $25 or more per night on top of the room you are already paying for. Our supposedly upgraded room had a lovely big window with a concrete wall view. the next floor and above had a view of sorts.

Location is great. Close to some pretty cool eats and only a short walk to north terrace and the markets etc.
