Amazing staff and just a well rounded spot to just chill and enjoy a few drinks. We consider this our local now. Can't wait for winter when the fire starts up. Inside it's homely and relaxing. Hearty meals served and always busy. Just love this spot ❤️

The Metro is a top supporter of interesting & eclectic live bands in a set-up where you can be right in with the action, or to the side in what's technically a 'beer-garden' with a view, or back in the front bar to refresh your drinks.
Every time I've attended, there's been a relaxed & friendly atmosphere, free or reasonable door-charge, hotel (not club) drink charges, easy access to toilets, close to tram & taxi-rank, and the fastest uber response I've ever had.
Highly recommended.

Great pub in the heart of Adelaide. Be aware the accom is pub style with shared facilities. It was a bit noisy at 5.00am with street noise but otherwise it was as I expected. If you're on a motorbike there's off-street parking overnight (closed between midnight and 6.00am) and good breakfast to be had over the road at the market.

It is an honest and genuine home style pub. A great range of Coopers beers on tap and choices of wine. The bar staff are friendly and helpful. Good, not flash pub food. It is worth calling in for drinks after a hard shopping at the Adelaide Market.

Good and bad location, right next to the market and China town but under heavy construction right now led to getting woke up very early most mornings. Staff was great, rooms were old but that's kind of the allure.

A decent price no nonsense place. Rooms with shared bathrooms, solid, delicious food at the pub, very central (opposite the famous market) - good opportunity to wash your cloths for 5 AUD in one hour in the washing machine. ||Friendly and communicative owners that solve problems.

I stayed for 2 nights here. Didn't have any food tho so can't say anything on that. But accommodation wise it had what you needed. The place is getting a bit dated but it's a cheap place with a great central location. The bus station is nearby which is perfect and it's easy to get to the airport with public transport from there. It's a good spot for a weary traveler who needs a place to stay for a couple nights. Also no AC in the rooms which is a bit of a bummer.

They should have paid me to stay here. My worst experience in years. I didn't so much dislike the late night crowd but the early morning cement mixer outside my window.
