I just had a 90-minute massage at Allay this afternoon, hoping to find a new go-to spot after moving interstate. I used to get massages every three weeks, so I know what to expect from a proper full-body treatment—and unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had.

Despite being marketed as a spa, the customer service was cold and unwelcoming. I’ve received more attentive care at nail salons. The therapist seemed inexperienced, echoing what others have noted in previous reviews. The entire 90 minutes were spent on my back—I was never asked to turn over, and my arms were completely neglected. Strangely, about 20 minutes were spent rubbing my feet with plastic gloves on, which felt odd rather than relaxing.

Overall, it didn’t feel like a professional or thoughtful massage, and the lack of warmth or care in the service just sealed the deal. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend Allay to others.

It’s alright. If you just want to relaxing than this place it’s good and clean. But if you want heal your muscle than I don’t think this place it’s good enough. I went there the lady massaged me doesn’t even touch one of my pressure points, just massage like beginner. Not just me but I was talk to other customer as well and she said same thing. She massage my bones not my muscle.
It’s relaxing, nice lady and helpful as well.
I just help those people who wants to know more detail about this service.

I was so lucky to have Vanessa(sorry if spell is wrong) as my therapist because she has not only excellent skill and knowledge of massage but also genuine care to customer by providing good conversation including consultation, keeping good temperature to avoid customer feels cold)
I know many Massage places since I used to live in Bali So I could tell this place is hygienic and Vanessa is very good therapist who does listen to what customer needs and tailor.

Allay is a great experience every time I go there. Lucy is great at what she does knows exactly which muscles to target to treat tight areas all across the body. Great place to go when I’m sore (especially after treating my own clients as a physio), knowing I will always get relief from muscle tightness.

Lovely atmosphere, respectful masseuse and quality massage. My partner and I attended Allay for a couples massage and foot detox. We were both impressed by the in depth massage including oils, hot stones and specialised massage for areas depending on our needs. We will definitely be back!

Ive been getting regular massages for many years and I’ve always got my eyes and ears open for where the best massage is (almost like a surfer searching for the best wave).

I’ve had many massages that are quite good and I’m happy keep to going back. But often there is something missing.

2 months ago I had my first massage from Lucy and she is the clear and obvious best masseuse I’ve ever had in Adelaide. I keep going back and I’ll keep going. Matter of fact I’m already referring family and friends there as I know Lucy can genuinely relieve pains that have been there for years that no one else can and make you better and lighter. It’s really a special gift she has.

Her knowledge of the human body is very detailed and the best thing you can do now is try her out for yourself.

Cannot recommend this place enough. At my second visit, Lucy noticed I wasn't walking well and recommended a remedial massage instead of the relaxation ones I had been getting. Well it was the best thing I have ever done and I have now been back several times and will continue to visit for her healing powers. Best massage I've had in a while yesterday. Lucy's technique was professional and detailed and very effective. I have so many trouble spots and she was able to prioritize and rationalize her approach.
Very clean, relaxed environment and good room temperature. Highly recommend and I will be back for more treatments. Lucy you are an angel!
