Stopped by for late brekki today with my teenage kids. I've never been here before.
Service, the lovely lady ( red hair) is amazing 👏 old school style service a real person who makes you feel welcome the whole time.
Food... large servings, and well priced.
Everything we ordered was presented well and tasty.
Coffee was very good and my piccolo came with sparkling water.( something all cafes should do)
But what a lot of cafes miss, and Del Rio has 💯 right is the friendly service, the chat making you feel you have been here not once but 100 times.

The food was great, and I especially loved the burger! My friend enjoyed a few cocktails as well. However, it was quite hot today (around 35°C), and I really wish the air conditioning had been on—it would have made the dining experience much better. Overall, still a solid spot for good food!

I was longing for a prawn linguini today so paid the first visit here, but I was not really satisfied today.
The pasta seems a bit over-boiled. Quite loose and come apart. The prawn is spiced and done well but the pasta is not the star. Sour and spicy linguini I ever had. Hope this is really an accident.
Service is great and atmosphere is great to lead me in.

RE: 55 minutes for the most basic Turkey sandwich and eggs. Either the kitchen staff slacking or you're pinching pennies and keeping ur store understaffed

Updated review post-rebrand / renovation. First off the people working in the kitchen are a joke. 55 minutes for eggs on toast and a sandwich at 2pm. They got the sanwhich order wrong twice. The side of mushrooms for 6.5 were unseason a d bland. Food service is painfully slow. The wait staff are friendly and helpful.

Only saving factor is the coffee and waitstaff + Barista

2:30pm on Saturday afternoon my partner and I rolled in, ordered 2 coffees and 2 eggs Benny's, the staff were so welcoming and friendly.. it was so refreshing. The coffe was amazing, but the food... OMG! one word PERFECT! Can't wait to go back!

In response to Owners response: it seems that some people can’t take criticism. The good and service were both crap - no way if justifying such bad behaviour and decisions. I highly urge people to avoid this terrible excuse of a cafe

Ok guys - hamburger tasted ok but you’ve made it so thick you can’t take a bite without squeezing the hell out of it.

What happens when you squeeze so you can take a bite? The guts go everywhere 🙁

Invest in bigger bread buns 🙂 you’ll make an old fart happy
