The staff were friendly and helpful—especially appreciated since my husband is gluten-free and they assisted where needed.

Unfortunately, the food was hit and miss. The chips were underwhelming, and despite asking for chicken salt, we got regular salt. The kids enjoyed the chicken nuggets and calamari, but we didn’t receive their included drinks, which was disappointing.

The biggest letdown was the grilled fish. All three portions looked like they’d been stewed in their own juices and still had scales and bones. That really sealed the experience for us.

Overall, I probably wouldn’t go back or recommend it.

The young kids were trying hard, and good to see them working well.
The fresh seafood was spectacular though!!! Ling (fish) was some of the best "fish of the day" I have ever had.
Fresh oysters were perfect.

I can see why some might give a lower score, but for me, the freshness and value was spot on ($30 for doz oysters). Exactly what we were looking forward to, and we weren't disappointed. Will be back!

They where medium busy but still got the order wrong .
Missing the kids nuggets which didn’t make me very popular, we ordered the family pack with whiting but got some other fish which was pretty ordinary.
And to add insult No Lemon?

I did read the reviews beforehand, but most of them are giving 1 star reviews when they didn't even eat or are notorious for giving bad reviews.
I found the staff pleasant enough, got standard chips (as expected), prawns were very good, and the oysters were amazing.
No, it wasn't the best seafood ever, but it was really good, had a lot of tasty elements, and actually was very fair value.
I don't know if most people here expected a Sydney seafood restaurant type quality, if they were, they certainly wouldn't be paying as low as this.
Anyway, I will be back. Oysters were the best I've had in a long while.

Ok maybe the calamari and chips deal at $9.50 isn't what everyone wants but i couldn't fault anything with this place in spite of the recent negative reviews. The young male who took my order was friendly, the wait for the meal was short and check out the photo it was really good value. The pepper was my idea because I don't like salt and there were 2 on offer - plain or chicken salt. Tender calamari rings a wedge of lemon and tartare sauce. Will definitely eat here again.

Excellent fresh prawns, stayed next door and had fresh prawns every day. $26 a kilo and they were outstanding. Also had prawn cutlets again outstanding and the chips were also good. They were busy with the long weekend and waited, but was rewarded with good food.

Did a phone order, arrived on time and it was ready soon after. Fish, dim sims, scallops and chips were delicious, the 2 young fellas did very well. The shop has so much potential, it just didn’t look clean or inviting and closing at 6pm? still trying to work that one out?

Ordered fish of the day, first bite I found a fish pin bone. Found multiple in the piece of fish I got as did my gf. Wouldn’t recommend
