Brilliant service and great tasting authentic Mexican food!
The customer service from all staff including the owner is outstanding even on a very busy and fully booked Saturday night.
We received a thorough explanation of the menu and specials.
We enjoyed ALL dishes and will be back again soon.
The grilled fish tacos, calamari and beef burrito were so well balanced and delicious!!
Do yourself a favour and come eat here no matter what the occasion is but be sure to book in advance as it is always busy.

Oh my! Where to even start…..
straight away, the atmosphere when entering, smiles, laughs, lighting.
Straight to the bar, treated like family!
The honey tequila goes down too good, somewhat dangerous ⚠️
As soon as the staff got wind of it being my birthday, we were treated like royalty.
Everyone was so welcoming, the food was incredible. 10/10 experience.
Thank you so much to The Mexican Yamba for having us and treating us as family.

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here the other night, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We arrived a bit early, but the staff were so accommodating and welcoming from the start. We ordered a few entrées, all of which were delicious, but the highlight was the incredible sizzling share plate—it was a 10 out of 10! It looked so good that multiple people stopped by our table to ask what we were having. The evening was filled with laughter, great cocktails, and an overall amazing experience. A big thank you to the wonderful staff for making our night so special!”

Aribbaaa!!! My husband and I went to the Mexican on Yamba while on holidays. We didn’t make a reservation (highly recommend) but they were super helpful and found us a spot. Great Mexican beer & margarita selections, sangria was delicious! We had the Mex grill and the steak and chicken were perfectly cooked so succulent. I could have drank the salsa verde on its own ! Tres leche cake was out of this world , so glad we got it even though we were so full. Staff were attentive and lively to match the environment. Will def be back when passing through

Quite possibly the best Mexican dinner we have ever had.
Our family of 7 all thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the experience.

We had Quesadilla, Tacos, Nachos, Burritos and Fajita Burrito and it was all supberb.
Hubby was happy with the variety of beer options and I had a couple of cocktails which were 👌🏼
The staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive.
We are here for another week and will make it priority to come back.

Best Mexican I've ever tasted. My daughter and I traveled all the way from the gold coast to go to this restaurant. Great food wonderful staff. Highly recommend.

13/10/24 Went back to the best Mexican restaurant ever. Food was fantastic staff were wonderful. Prices are good, servings are large. Staff come and talk to you, chef came out and had a chat to a few tables too. We go from Pimpama and stay in Yamba over night. Wish there was one on the Gold Coast. Will keep going back.

Great fun at the Mexican! The owner has a tonne of energy and the place is always pumping. Big focus on quality organic ingredients and you can tell—the food is top notch. A little on the $$ side but the portions are big! Also, possibly the best margaritas I’ve had with their house made sours mix. Can’t wait to return!
