We were able to get in at short notice, the service was exceptional. Our site was spacious, the amenities were good. The pool looked fantastic but unfortunately we did not get to use it. The park is in a great location right on the water with a walkway all along. Handy to everything Yamba has to offer. Loved our stay here!

From the time we walked into reception to check in to our accommodation, until the time we checked out, we had a great experience. The staff were so friendly & helpful. The cabin was lovely & clean, well stocked, bed was comfy & we had a beautiful outlook over the river.

The best thing about the park is that it is within walking distance to pretty well everything in town. The staff and grounds persons are friendly and helpful.
The amenities were clean but dated.
I felt too clostraphobic, we were jambed in very close to each other. No real space to park your vehicle safely. I feel that deleting one site and a refurbishment would make it better and enjoyable. Also, the fact that the public can walk straight through park day or night does give an uneasy feeling.
I'm afraid we will not be returning for a second stay.

Brilliant location on banks of river and right in middle of town. Staff very helpful. As others have mentioned really needs a facelift, especially the bathroom facilities. Sites quite small.

The caravan park has a great position right in town and close to the beach and the river. Unfortunately it’s not well maintained, the facilities are very tired and have a sour smell, even straight after cleaning. The majority of the office staff are very pleasant. It seems unusual for a council park to be so poorly maintained. |I hope they improve things as it’s an ideal position.

Had a great time at calypso.staff where great.
Reason for my post
Site 31 did anyone see a black Isuzu get reversed into I left this morning 13/2/25 big damage to my car possibly hit out of the park but looks like caravan reverse.
Not the parks fault just hoping someone saw something.
Would appreciate any information

Enjoyed a powered site for a week . Every morning the toilet and shower areas were well cleaned. Plenty of Individual/ toilet shower amenities gave you privacy to do your thing . The staff were friendly and helpful. Also in a great location.

We just finished a lovely 7 days at Calypso.||Location is spectacular - you can park the car and walk to every you might want. Staff are friendly and the amenities clean with lots of cubicles- they look like they have had a paint in recent years. ||I really appreciated that there was a pool with no bells and whistles- this meant that people went for a swim and it was not full of unsupervised kids causing chaos.||The best thing was no dogs during the holiday season! I am so tired of arriving to a site to smell dog urine and having dogs on every second site.||Highly recommended 😄
