Amazing place to stay! Simple but has everything you need. Perfect room for us, a family of 4 with two big kids - clean, spacious rooms and so lovely waking up to water views. The waterfront is so peaceful and relaxing. Perfect for kids to play, to sit back and read, have a drink, and the outside BBQs and tables make for a great spot for a meal and chat with other guests and to top it off a little fishing spot where many fish were caught. An easy drive to town, restaurants and the beaches. We loved our stay! I would absolutely recommend it!

From the moment I opened the room door, I was totally at peace. A large ground floor studio with views across the well-kept lawn and onto the Clarence River. The apartment was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a pool, warm spa, many areas on the lawn both covered and uncovered, bbqs and a covered boat shed for entertaining to take in the beautiful river views. Traffic noise was unnoticeable.

Great, quiet, peacefull, good fishing and wonderful acomadation.
The facilities are wonderfull by having a little bar with a barbeque, grass which is kept well.
We will be 100% returning soon.
Also good fishing is on the boat ramp near thw fish n chip shop.

Recently stayed here in a Queen deluxe room & we were very pleased. Highly recommended. The room was spacious. Beautiful view of the water with own private balcony. The room has all the essentials you need, weather its a short stay or long stay moby dick Is perfect. The new pool & spa is great as well as the bbq areas outside to also enjoy with plenty of seating & shaded areas. I did not want to go home was so nice & peaceful. Checking in & out was a breeze. Thank you for having us we look forward to returning some day.

Beautiful water view, pelicans, boats and lovely well kept gardens makes the view from your balcony very serene. Our room was an older one right down the end of the building (I think it was the only room available),with a very small bathroom which could easily be extended to put some shelving in. The rest of the room was very spacious and nice. Unfortunately housekeeping let it down a little, a few unwashed glasses etc and the floor was sticky and needed a good clean. However, apart from the housekeeping slip up, staff were lovely and location peaceful, and I would stay again.

Moby dick is such an amazing place to stay. Located on the river, each room would have water views. The pool area has just been refurbished and the kids loved it. We will definitely be back. 100% we would recommend Moby dick if you were planning on traveling to Yamba

We love coming to Yamba, its our favourite spot. Have stayed here once before many years ago. Stayed again on the weekend and while the location is great there's a few things to improve on.
The room cleanliness while it looks ok at a glance it can be improved on. Floors didn't feel clean, when sitting on the deck chairs noticed the thickest dust under the beds along with rubbish, they obviously don't get moved often or cleaned under at all. The air conditioner had the blackest mould inside it that I've ever seen so with our two young children sleeping under the unit we decided to not use it at all. Needs a professional aircon clean asap! The main floor is vinyl plank and they must have layed these up and over some sort of tile area in the kitchen creating a ramp in the flooring, this is a trip hazard and was tripped on by myself, wife and daughter, really need to do something about this.
The staff were nice, but if they tidy up these issues above it would be much nicer and feel alot cleaner.
A working jetty would be good to as the jetty is dilapidated and unusable, which is a shame for those looking to fish out the back of the complex.

Awesome place to stay. Rooms were renovated tastefully & clean on arrival.
Great view from the room & good location. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in Yamba.
