We had a mostly positive experience at this park. The play zones are fantastic, with plenty to keep the kids entertained. However, some areas could use a bit more cleaning, especially the Kids Kave, which had quite a bit of dirt and sand buildup.||Most facilities appear to have been recently updated, but the camp kitchen felt notably outdated. It was very basic and quite rustic compared to the rest of the park. Since we were camping with our 1-year-old, it was a bit of a hike to the kitchen from our spot. Adding a microwave or other basic amenities to the BBQ areas would be incredibly helpful.||On a positive note, the pool areas were absolutely amazing – definitely the highlight of our stay. We’d consider coming back if we were passing through, but the camp kitchen was a bit of a letdown in an otherwise great park.

We had an ensuite site which was great for our first adventure out with our new van. It was spotless and stocked with towels and soap. The water was hot and the shower spacious.
The sites were large with room for our car and the gazebo set up. We would definitely return or try another NRMA park.

A great family orientated park with lots of child friendly activities. Two pools ( including slides, a splash pad and a swim up pool bar), mini golf, games room, mini indoor rock climbing, movie room and a jumping pillow.

The main area for improvement was the ensuite site bathroom had scalding hot water. Easily as hot, if not hotter, than a boiled kettle! High risk of severe burns for young children. We reported to reception upon checkout and I really hope they take prompt action to fix before someone is hurt.

Some tips for others -
- camp kitchen was very basic. Dishwashing liquid dispenser was empty. No lighter was provided to light the gas cooktop. Make sure you BYO these!
- bring mozzie repellent/coils. Lots of mozzies!
- this is not a park for loud, drunken partying as nearly all families have young kids.

If you are looking for somewhere for lunch or dinner, I highly recommend the Sanctus Brewery in Townsend. Nice vibe, great range of drinks and really tasty food!

Thank you Blue Dolphin Yamba! Possibly the best holiday park we have been to, the staff went above & beyond to make sure our stay was easy & maximum fun. The nature is stunning. We can’t think of anything missing at this park accept for maybe a DJ or live music haha! Seriously this place has everything. It is on the higher end price wise but you get so much for your dollar. We stayed on an ensuite campsite, which is pure luxury to have a spotless bathroom with young kids and an Astro turf flat, large plot to camp on. We’ll be back!!! The Cowley’s

Park is great for kids! Pools are freezing cold. No warm option which is a shame for these cooler months. The pool and pump track won’t open til 9am which is really late for kids. Service is pretty bad nobody in any area seems to have personality or smile and interact. The mozzies are absolutely ridiculous. It was an alright stay but won’t come back. No fishing hire or kayak etc

Seemed quite dated but the kids still had a great time.. The kids area with all the soft play needs a good vacuum and clean around the equipment. There weren’t loads of people when we stayed but yet we felt jammed in..
The river is right along the park which had a lovely sunset view

We didn't stay in the accommodation as we had a van, however it seems to be a very nice park with great amenities and large van sites.
However we were very disappointed with the advertising of "Dog Friendly". It should advertise that they are "Dog tolerant" as we were placed in the far back corner on a swamp and beside the main road with the other dog owners.
While the weather was very wet (and not their fault), our site was a mud pit. There were many other available higher and dryer and less swampy sites, but obviously not for dogowners.
I could understand if the park was full, but it was almost empty.
We were also told that we should refrain from walking our dog around the main area and the pool areas and stick to the outside parameters.
Very disappointing NRMA and disrespectful.

NRMA took over this park recently and now the DO NOT recycle! Appalling! Even if they just set something up the front and the local school can recycle it to raise money through return and earn. Would cost them nothing and play a positive role in the community and for the environment. I can't believe in 2025 places are not recycling.
Staff driving around the park on multiple occasions using phones and driving utes/golf carts, utes going well above the 10km/h speed limit. On one occasion came very close to hitting children, we asked to speak to management and had no response.
Rooms need to be maintained, window sills, benches and bed frames all in deteriorated condition. 1 bedroom villa had triple bunks that were very small, teenagers wouldn't be comfortable in them and too high for younger kids.
Pool set up is baffling for a family park. 1 heated pool which is designated as an adult area around the swim up bar.
Go karts were hired out despite them knowing they did not function. Very old and need replacing.
Only one water slide was open with no explanation and never reopened over the week.
Pump track was the great and in good condition.
Inflatable pillow would close when it rained, fair enough, and then noone would reopen it without prompting once it was dry. One day it just never got turned on and again no apology or explanation.
Location is great for nature access, right on the river and beside the boat ramp. Plenty of space for boat parking around the park, some rooms accommodate this better than others. 5 minute trip into town.
