Located at 20 Oatley Avenue, Oatley, Nee South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺
This is a great place very popular with the locals. Every time I walk past it’s crowded. I finally got the chance to pop in today for a quick visit and drink and it was lovely. So nicely decorated and a great view overlooking the park. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The menu is great, a great selection for anyone to choose a meal or just something quick to eat and drink. There’s not a lot of tables so as I said it’s very crowded when it’s busy. There’s only street parking 🅿️ and that gets filled quickly around Oatley. If you have mobility issues, or in wheelchair, you would have to sit at tables outside, there’s stairs leading inside. The tables will fill up quickly. I would definitely recommend a visit. Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

I visited East Avenue Cafe a number of times in the past year, and on every visit I had a lovely experience. From the first interaction with staff upon arrival, enjoying my meal and coffee, throughout till leaving the cafe it's always been 5 star service. The staff is very friendly and kind, they make a real effort to make you feel welcome. Their coffee is great and made to your preference. I love mine extra hot, and it always comes just like that! Today I enjoyed a takeaway lunch with a friend of mine, and it was superb. I had the smoked salmon and avocado, and my friend had the chicken and vegetables sandwich. Both were freshly made, beautifully presented and wrapped up for us to take home. I can highly recommend East Avenue Cafe! The atmosphere inside is super cute and cosy, very enjoyable. All beverages and food are most delicious. I will be returning for sure!

The food here is exceptional. Their house made meals are off the charts - my personal favourite is the strapatsada, scrambled eggs with tomato, feta and garlic. It’s divine!

I've had a dozen Sunday coffees at EAE these last 12 months and they never fail to deliver. The coffee is made right and the food is fresh. The friendly staff are keen to accommodate any request. See you folks again sometime soon.

This cafe is one of my favourites! Service, food, coffee and atmosphere are always 10/10. The staff are so nice and friendly. They are always able to cater to my needs… Definitely a must try cafe

Not a bad spot for a quick lunch ! Easy to find parking.

Not only did they mess up two of our orders (put sauce on a roll when specifically asked for no sauce and no sauce on one asked for sauce), but they completely forgot about a cappuccino we ordered and didn't even realise until we went up to ask. Overcharged us (said something was $24 and charged $28) and the coffee isnt even that good.
