I often eat at this place on campus, and the food has always been great. This time, I ordered the big breakfast and the Italian baked eggs, and the portion was absolutely massive—definitely worth 5 stars for the food alone. However, my experience was overshadowed by the poor customer service.

The staff, particularly the Asian guy who seems to be the manager, was incredibly rude. While we were waiting in line and deciding on our order, he acted impatient and dismissive, almost like he was hurrying us up and making us feel stupid for taking a moment to choose. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. I tried to be nice about it asking for an item to see if they had it on the menu and he was just rude about it. Hospitality isn’t just about serving good food—it’s also about making customers feel welcome, and this attitude really dampened the experience.

While I’ll likely come back for the food, the service needs serious improvement.

Ordered a almond cappuccino here, Victoria coffee, no pour technique and just slopped the chocolate powder on like it was a hot chocolate..must be just poor level of baristas in the uni campus area…seeing they weren’t students and adults.. if you’re looking for a very average coffee this place is fine. The food however looks good

The iced long black was $9.30. It was way too expensive, and although it was supposed to be a large, it was actually a medium size – the same as a regular size elsewhere.

There wasn’t even milk in it, and even if there was, $9.30 is way too much. The combination of water, ice, and 2 shots for $9.30 near a college campus was shocking.

I won’t be going back. I’m not going there again.

“Best coffee on campus”, madness! Stopped in on my way to a lecture to be rudely served by a Latino girl who woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I stood away for merely 2 minutes taking a phone and had my order screamed aggressively and shoved in my face when collecting. The attitude is astonishing. Not only was the flavour bitter, I scolded my mouth and had a blister for days. After speaking with a few students about my experience I was made aware of her recurring rudeness and told to avoid the cafe at all costs. Such a shame as it’s new and fresh; shame the staff didn’t get updated with the renovations. Food is decent, but atmosphere to sit and try and wind down after a 2 hour tutorial, please take my advice and go to the Wilkinson Building where there’s much more variety and much kinder staff.

Quick coffee.
That’s the only positive. Vittoria coffee bean not my taste, burnt almond milk, and enough head on a latte to be considered a cappuccino.

CAUTION!
Ignore the opening hours on google!
These guys always shut HOURS earlier than their info says.
If you happen to arrive when they are cleaning up (often 2-3 hours before described closing time!) you will be met with a very rude „WE ARE CLOSED!“
Other than the lazy rude staff and lack of current information, the food is very mid considering the ridiculously high prices!
Rarely any decent Gluten Free options, if you are lucky enough to find one it is double the price of the non GF version.
Instead of wasting your time and money, I recommend taking a short walk over to Abercrombie street for an authentic cafe with top service and food!

Hands down the absolute best cafe on campus (and in Australia)🫡 I love this place. I come here pretty much everyday, multiple times throughout. Never ever fails to amaze me. Chai lattes are superb. Banana bread is banging. Pasta rocks my world. Staff are iconic.

Iced mocha is pretty good, but entirely over priced. $11 for a large iced mocha with lactose free milk. Unbelievable. Lunch special which is a chicken wrap is disgusting. I had digestive discomfort the entire afternoon. Not sure what they put in the wrap, but it tasted so bad. Personally, I would not recommend it. I’ve tried way better coffee at a much reasonable price.
