I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room was ready before the official check-in time, which was incredibly helpful—it allowed me to drop off my luggage and enjoy my afternoon in Sydney stress-free. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom, complete with a bathtub and shower, made it easy to relax after a long day. The room itself was spacious, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed. The blackout curtains were a great touch, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Considering all these comforts, the value for the price was excellent.

Staff were friendly and helpful. That's where the positive experience ended. Room was small for three adults, and particularly the bathroom was quite tired, with some fixtures that needed fixing or replacing (shower shelf, for example, was barely attached and hanging at an angle). Shower pressure was terrible to nonexistent. Cleanliness was just okay. Experience felt miserly, even down to providing only two water glasses for three people, and at over $400 for one night it was certainly not value for money. Could easily hear guests in other rooms. Bed was comfortable, I suppose. For a hotel restaurant catering to international guests, the provision of vegan and gluten-free (for example) options was dreadful. In 2025, people with special dietary requirements shouldn't be subjected to garden salad and fries as their only options.

My daughter and I were very fortunate enough to get an early check in which was great. We also got a lovely welcome card and plate of sweet cakes. Which surprised us greatly and was much appreciated after a big morning.
The staff were so helpful and accommodating in answering all our questions.
Great location, and our room was spotless.

The only downside would of been the shuttle bus service but they are not affiliated with Novotel

Great location for the airport and local restaurants although rooms really need updating and a good clean. Definitely overpriced for the quality of rooms.
Bar food was way over cooked and cold even though there was only a couple people there. 9.30pm on a Friday, so I didn't think they would have any staffing issue.
Cross fingers they improve otherwise those closer airport hotels may be a better option.

Great hotel and very convenient. |Recently stayed at the Novotel overnight as our family had a 6:30am international flight the next morning. |The location is convenient, the rooms are spacious especially with a toddler and the service was faultless. |The hotel also offers a shuttle to the international airport and drops you straight to airports doors. I believe the cost was $12 pp |I found the whole experience to be easy and convenient. We would stay again.

Overnight stay before a flight the next afternoon, staff were accommodating, and really helpful, the room was clean and bed comfy.
We have stayed at this hotel everytime we have needed to be near the airport, itsclose to Wolli creek Train station so if you want to get to the city its easy.
Breakfast is good, with different options.

Pleasant one night stay at the hotel en route to Norfolk Island. Efficient and welcoming at reception and shortly afterwards enjoying the amenities of Room 925 and a refreshing sleep before heading to dinner in the restaurant. Room had more than adequate amenities for our stay and the bed was comfortable. Used the shuttle for early departure to the airport, no hassle prompt service. Happily stay at this hotel again if transiting Sydney overnight.

The best NOVOTEL lobby set up. They even had a luggage scale. Cozy lounge area, piano separate from main restaurant and bar. LOVED IT definitely will be back and highly recommended.
