Stayed at Penshurst Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. The location is excellent, quiet and peaceful, yet close to public transport, shops, and cafes. The attention to detail in the housekeeping is excellent. Great value and great service!

Very rude bar staff. Ordered food in the bistro went to get drinks but they would give us drinks coz two of us did not have ids and only one of us (me with my ID) was drinking beer while there were four of us and three were getting coke. I had my ID on me and I was getting a beer but they kicked us out of the entire pub including the bistro stating we cant be in there even just to eat and not drink. I even told the security guy that we were not getting any drinks and just gonna eat our dinner but he said “Get out” literally. We had to convert our order into take away coz it would be refunded. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone new!! 😡😡

Nice place! Surprised me a little 🙂

A little the way out of the city but I was staying with friends nearby who just had a little one and there weren't many other options. Picked up a room last minute and it didn't disappoint!

I have been to many pubs in Sydney but despite the fact that i was staying at this hotel for some days they weren’t nice to me and my friends. They weren’t giving what we were asking for or paying for . We were about to place order for more drinks but one of the guys said that the drinks that were having in the moment were our last drink even though it wasn’t their closing time .

nice renovated room. very clean and comfy. the pokies downstairs are good! Also there’s plenty restaurants and cafes around

If you want party, beer and bedding go here. If you want to sleep go somewhere else. The bar in the hotel is so noisy. People are singing, screaming, stamping in the floor and you can hear everything in the rooms. You can also smell smoke from the bar in the rooms. Impossible to get a good nights sleep here.

The train connections to Sydney are good.

Very bad customer service, room were descent but when we requested our first drink of the night we didn’t get jd with less coke also there is no jug or pint available saying it’s just a this pubs rule …
We think it’s ridiculous to the customer and its very bad to customer who visit for the first time
