The one saving grace for this pub is the staff, the bar staff were on loan from another pub and were doing a great job. Rooms are very ordinary and I would not recommend at all. Shower was broken and the only shower.
Can’t comment on the food but people seemed to rate it. Will give this place a miss in the future.

From check in to check out our experience here was atrocious
We were instructed to go up the stairs to check in..i took my granddaughter up with me expecting to find some sort of reception area. What i was greeted with was a pokies room and an aggressive Asian lady telling me off for bringing my granddaughter up with me. After getting to the rooms what we found was completely unacceptable.. the rooms were old, run down and broken. The beds had "quilts" that were not in covers. They were torn and stained and covered only by a sheet. The bathrooms were horrible. Mould on the roof and the grout. Cracked and broken tiles. The shower is located over a very slippery bathtub. The vanity tap handles were not attached to the taps. There was no toilet roll holder, and the toilet leaked. When we were leaving. The cleaner practically demanded that we leave at 8am when check out was 10am. While we were taking our luggage out of the rooms at 920 she was trying to push into the rooms before we had even got the last stuff out. Overall very poor attitude. Wont be staying here ever again and will not recommend for anyone to stay here. Worst hotel experience. Also don't bother with the bistro here...... menu on the Web is over 5 years and they only take cash. When you ask about the menu.... they'll tell you that they haven't updated the page in 5 years and won't give information about where to go for "Australian" food

First night checking in. We booked the family room to be told that the room has already been booked. We got given this other room and it wasn't even ready or clean. Lipsticks blankets, spew in the bins and rubbish everywhere. Dirty room, the impression was disappointing off the bat. Rude bartender woman, and rude security guard, accusing of false intoxication when we only had a few beers, told us to leave and has poor management & customer service honestly. If you like a strong 90% chance of a cold shower, here you have it. Grateful for a place to stay but it definitely deserves a 1 star in my opinion.

Great price for the location. Clean room with shared facilities. Excellent staff. Walk to station and Hungry Jacks. Road noise was not a serious issue but neighbour running a/c all night made it difficult to sleep. TV and sink in the room. I will stay again and hope to get better neighbours.

Ran out of hot water in ensuite trying to keep warm from walking on cold tiled floors with the Air-con set on cold, would not heat up or turn off. The wind up handle was missing to shut window from the bitter 8 degree temperatures overnight. No warm or spare blanket on the old sqeeky bed. No appliances or utensils and no coffee/tea/cups provided, oddly just an electric jug? I felt ripped off and depressed during my stay.

The hotel is comfortable with air conditioner, a bed, a desk and a sink in the room and television and wifi.
The hotel entrance supplies televisions, its a gaming venue for horse racing and all sports. A tab and snooker table, toilets and a large restaurants and bar service.

Worst hotel i have ever stayed at. Private bathroom but was mould everywhere and the shower head wasnt even attached so unusable. Used shared bathrooms and completely filthy and gross. Had to wait ages for water to heat up and no water pressure. In private bathroom sink was unusable and a plunger was next to sink to use. No doona covers on the doonas. Dirty underwear left in a draw in our room. Tv remotes had one battery and no kettle or appliances in the room
