Be prepared for the unexpected. The room was probably repurposed from an aged care facility with sink at one end of the room, a fiberglass portable toilet and shower at the other end, and a bed in the middle. To their credit, room was spotlessly clean with very comfortable bed, nice white linen, and pillows were ok. Staff was courteous, amenities in room were minimal, and coffee machine at reception was broken. On the whole, our stay went well, though definitely not worth the $193 we paid for one night, but that I guess is the price you pay for going to Sydney.

This is an Ibis Budget, a budget motel that represents value for money. The service on arrival was great. Parking excellent. Our room was a typical Ibis Budget. Smallish room with the prefabricated shower/toilet. It was clean, the motel quiet and well located. Air conditioner worked as did the tv. All in all, if we need to we will stay at this motel again.

Great location, quiet. Bed was ok - bathroom was great size for accessibility requirements, only downfall was the shower seat was covered in mould. The window in the room could do with some W40 as it was SOOOOOOO loud to open and close! Otherwise for the price we really couldn't make any other comments.

Nothing fancy. Perfect for a one night stop. Location was good for us. Rooms are small, ensuite tiny, but price was great.

Budget accommodation is exactly what you'd expect: nothing fancy. No "luxurious" facade or fittings, basic (and in some cases, shared) amenities. Just a good place to lay your head at night, and stage your days.

First, let us talk positives: The bed was comfortable enough, and having two different pillows made for decent sleep. The blind does a fantastic job of blocking out the light from outside. The soundproofing was decent enough that my sleep wasn't disturbed by all the traffic passing by (my room overlooked the Great Western Highway). The breakfast was good enough to keep me fueled until dinner. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The vending machine that stocked some toiletries was also great.

Now onto the negative: the design of the rooms. Whoever the architect, builder, and plumber were, they need to have their heads examined. Who puts the sink on the other side of the room to the bathroom? Why isn't the bathroom big enough to accommodate the sink? Why is there an angle in the bathroom wall where the door sits, resulting in your knee being jammed against the wall when you sit on the toilet? Why is the shower head so low that an average-height adult man has to duck down to wash their head? Why is there a foot high step to get into the bathroom, and no lip in the shower so water goes everywhere? Lastly, why is there no fan in the bathroom?

All-in-all, it was a decent enough stay. Just remember to bring an extension cord if you want to use/charge devices on the bed.

Clean, comfortable and local to food including Wentworthville Leagues club. Soft though supportive beds.
Not happy about the proposed charge for parking especially as there is no alternative nearby.

I've stayed at a flophouse in the Bowery, NYC that was better than this. The room was revolting, though cleaning staff had done their job to the best of their ability. Brown water stains on all walls. Exposed foam gap filler bubbling out from cracks everywhere. A bathroom so small I had to open the door to sit on the dunny. Thankfully the blind worked, air con worked, linen was clean so I slept. Lucky for me, I was only there for 7 hours. I can't be bothered to ask for a refund but I will never, ever stay there again as long as I live, and it's right near work.

Whilst the hotel was clean, the style was very dated and worn. Paint missing off doors and walls, tv cracked and dented. The whole place had a weird smell to it. In addition to this, using the key to access the room proved an art to master; was not user friendly at all. Basin was full of cracks and there was no actual hand soap in the room. Overall not a fantastic experience.
