Myself and my partner went in this morning to have breakfast as it’s been awhile going there. It’s our favourite cafe when sit and chat closed down. We did the self serve at the table. Everything was great till we got our food. At first I wanted to give it back and say something but i was really hungry and we just had to put more salt and pepper then usual. In the photos you can see the mushrooms are very burnt, bacon is very over cooked and very hard my partner has false teeth so he wasn’t able to eat all of that as it will hurt his gums. My partner also order a cappuccino and it was burnt. It’s very upsetting that our local cafe couldn’t deliver like they usually do. It blows my mind that they think that was a good idea to bring out to the customer to begin with. I understand most people like to eat burnt mushrooms and over cooked bacon but not everyone is like that and if that’s what I wanted I would have made a note of that in my order. I don’t think we will be back there again. Other than the food everything was great. The atmosphere is good and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I just think you might need to chat with your chef.

I only reason I am give 1star is because there’s no option for 0. I went yesterday for lunch with my partner and we ordered grilled barramundi with some chips and salad and pancakes. Pancakes was okay but fish was so cold. And we also ordered coffee after lunch it’s was worse, I ordered almond flat white and my partner normal flat white, they give us both coffee in normal milk, they this we are stupid or what? It was very bad and unprofessional.

First time visiting Sage Cafe and it will not be the last! Delicious food, efficient service and a peaceful atmosphere despite being above the busy Hive area of Erina Fair. We had the breakfast special and it was excellent.

Huge plates of tasteless food.
What happened to providing sandwiches or toasties, a simple salad instead not these massive plates as you do.
Not everyone wants a huge meal for lunch.
Your menu needs to be simpler and easy to read, at the moment it's not.

Been here a few times with mum and I can say hands down this is such a great place! Great service, great food and amazing drinks and cookies! 10/10 I recommend this place!

This place is unbelievable so charged 24 dollars for salad forgot the egg and it no love no taste no care looked like a 12 year old made it dressing was Coles vinaigrette, was so poorly made coffee was worse absolute rip off rude service, the kids meal not much better just dry no care and crap food, seeming I went across the road week before to Oliver was cheaper and flavour was incredible really impressed with herbs spices presentation, and service with a smile,
Sorry but was pathetic at sage will never eat there again and tell everyone to save money and stay clear
