Glad to see the cafe in full swing a year after opening!

My double espresso was great, as was my bacon and egg roll.

Menu has most of the classics - covering a few different price points offerings for various budgets.

Mount Riv shops used to be so buzzy back in the 80s.. it's nice to have somewhere to drop in, grab a coffee or a bite to eat during the day, or to break up a walk along Rusden 🙂

I never actually eat in, but when I’m there the atmosphere is always very welcoming and family-friendly. I’m a weekend regular for GOOD reason, the prices are great and you get a solid amount of really great food for them, the coffee is lovely but (most importantly imo) the service is always great, super relaxed yet competent and really friendly and welcoming.

Ordered an extra large flat white. Basically got a bad frothy cappuccino without the chocolate on top. 1/4 of the cup was milk bubbles.
1. Cappuccino is not frothy, at all.
2. Flat white has barely any "froth"
Coffee wasn't hot. "Baristas" and I use the term very loosely need to go and learn how to make a coffee properly. The servo auto machines make coffees better and cheaper.

Prices are average $6.50 for an extra large. It would not be an issue if the coffee was made right.
Good coffee beans though, nice flavour and I like that they use bio cups and recyclable lids on takeaway cups.

Service was very slow. 2 workers. One taking orders and 1 attempting to make coffee. Over 10 minute wait for a coffee on a weekend.

The place looked lovely. Very prettily decorated. Nice seating. No music though. All you could hear was the teen girls chatting at the coffee machine. Very quiet from other people waiting for their coffees. So some music would have improved the atmosphere. No heaters, outside and inside was a bit cold to wait for the coffee.

Moon and Co is an all around good place. Good food, good people. James takes a lot of care with dietary intolerances, even putting effort into remembering your needs and offering alternatives. We’re fortunate to have such a great quality cafe locally!

This cafe is tucked away in Mount Riverview, but it’s honestly worth travelling to find even if you’re not a local. The chef is incredibly talented and service is great!

Avoid coming on a Sunday morning because it’s next to City Church and the members of that church can be incredibly entitled and rude.

Lovely local cafe, great food and quick, friendly service! Really well priced too, most foods are a few dollars cheaper than other cafes in the wider area. Also noticed they have a few ‘after school deals’ from $6-$15 that would be affordable for school kids. Such a great addition to the community!

Would love an app/online order-ahead option so I can support this local cafe more frequently, e.g. in a rush on my way to work, instead of the maccas drive thru!
