We used Cafe at Lewers for our wedding reception, and we could not have wished for more, the whole night was amazing. Kristin and Steve made the preplanning and organising of our reception so easy, they were helpful and supportive every step of the way answering all of our silly questions. The team on the night executed our vision better than we could have thought of ourselves. The staff were fantastic, they really brought the infectious energy to the night to make it extra special. The food was down right delicious. We could not have asked for a better venue and staff to host our special day. Would 100% recommend anyone considering a wedding at Cafe at Lewers to jump on it you will not regret it.

Such a great space! Love that the kids can explore the gardens and play on the grass.
Food is delicious! The French Chicken Salad was so tasty and fresh and a huge portion, I had to take half home!

Great staff, really friendly service. Amazing coffee.

Also, love when they have twilight at Lewers. The food menu then is also amazing.

Lots of gluten free options available!

Came on a Friday lunch. Place was busy, atmosphere was great. Our burger and bacon & egg bagel were good, meanwhile the pork was so dry as though it’s just been reheated. Drinks were just average, nothing special about them.

Update from my first rating:

Came here initially for chips and coffee - which they did well.

However the bagel dish for brekkie was vegetarian friendly and tasted as good as it looked (points for presentation).

Cafe staff were great this time round - and got to talking about the brew of coffee (which I'm still keen to get once my current coffee ground is finished). It's roasted in Katoomba and can only be brought there at the Cafe - good stuff.

Overall - when I think about a great place to bring out of towners (e.g. people from the east) - I take them here. A great cafe with artwork and a riverside walk nearby. Add the drive to the place (tree lined) and makes for a good visit each time.

Great place to bring the kids too with a nice green for the kids to play.

Keep hitting them winners.

P.S. I did get complaints from the guests I brought about one of the staff at the galleries making visitors feel uncomfortable. I got that vibe too but laughed it off. That said, I am sympathetic and I get where they are coming from (i.e. recent events overseas with people attacking artwork).

Fresh ingredients and pretty presentations. Good coffee. Never thought avo toast could be this fancy and full of flavours. Friendly efficient service. Always feel better to have a troll in the gallery afterwards.

This place is pretty much booked out every weekend but even so, they’ll still squeeze you in somewhere but it’s best to make a booking. The food is excellent but a little pricey. The brunch options are unique though. This isn’t just your regular “eggs on toast” cafe. They also have specials along side the menu. I’ll never forget my favourite special these guys did and that was the red velvet hotcake. It was simply brilliant. I’m only giving 4 stars though and that’s purely because of the price. Apart from that, it’s a great place to go if you’re doing the river walk and need to refuel.

It's a very cute cafe and quite buzzing on a Saturday. We enjoyed our brunch and coffee. The service was very quick.
I did ask the server to make sure not to put parsley in my dish, but I found quite good chunks of it in my salad. Other than that, it's a lovely cafe.

Nothing beats having a delicious brunch in the courtyard with the sun melting away all your worries. I love the fresh flavours of dishes every time I visit and they make a mean dirty chai! Thanks so much to the staff there. It’s always busy, but there’s a reason why!
