Reasonable location is the only positive. We stayed in one of the newer rooms unconnected to the main building. These are standard motel rooms aimed at “travellers” all over Australia. Meant to be simple, basic and clean. These are anything but - look closely and the fan is filthy, and electrical switches don’t work and the shower was disgraceful. We’ve stayed all over the vast outback in basic accomodation based on portable buildings that were spotless with communal ammenities that were equally spotless.

It’s not hard to treat your guests with respect!! Speaking of which, beware the bad tempered Troll who greets you on arrival and marches around barking orders like a very angry Drill Sargent.

Had a great stay here, very clean and cosy with a wonderful atmosphere. However, the wifi didn't work but apart from that I had a great stay :o)

Lovely venue, close to everything. Well priced. Clean with all you need in the way of amenities and very generous with consumables compared to other places we have stayed. New friendly owners gradually renewing maintenance issues that have been previously neglected. Comfy bed, great shower.

Staff were a bit short - and thars being nice. The rooms are basic but they are clean and for an overnight stay, there was no problem.

Unfortunately not the best of stays.

Pros: Great water pressure in the shower.

Cons: The property is very outdated. The rooms are in need of thorough cleaning. The bed is squeaky and falling apart and very uncomfortable.

Overall lots of improvements are required to bring this motel up to proper standards.

I chose a deluxe queen room as I wanted to be in the house and not in the outer building. It is your classic country hotel which hasn’t been updated in decades but the bed was comfortable and the room clean. One thing we found weird was they can only supply one key per room and the front desk is only open 8-8pm so you have to ensure you go back together or work out were to leave a key. The pool is small and was closed even though the weather was quite warm. It is a 10 minute walk to the Main Street and we felt quite safe walking home at night. The lady at reception was very unfriendly which was odd as everyone else we met seemed to be very friendly. My blinds didn’t close properly, which if you are in Room 12, you have every one walking past. Would I stay very again - probably not, but I wouldn’t say don’t stay here. They do have free parking if you have a car.

We had a 2 night stay. Dreadful. Spa bath and shower were filthy dirty. Awful furniture crammed in the room. Bathroom door did not close properly to provide privacy. Wallpaper freeze on wall and paint were peeling off. Bed linen was stained. Electrical wiring and power points do not work. |Check in was rude with a reluctance to show room before full payment. |This was a horrible experience. Avoid this place

A centrally located hotel in walking distance to the Main Street and art galleries of the area with comfortable amenities. Free clothes washer and only two dollars for the dryer which was a real godsend. Friendly staff and good amount of tea and coffee supplies in the room. Quiet area and highly recommend
