My husband and I booked in for our 20th Anniversary, our first night away from our disabled son in 3 years. What we had anticipated as a special night was ruined by key remotes not working and being stuck in the underground garage for more than 30minutes, waiting on hold as we tried to reach someone to help us on the phone. When we were finally answered, the pleasant young man handed over to a horrid, rude and arrogant jerk (who we later found to be the owner) who treated me like idiotic garbage until we were eventually able to convince him that the remote we had been given was ineffective.|To say our evening was spoiled is an understatement and it is very difficult to find any thing positive to say, despite the fact that the facilities were as you would expect when paying $350 for the night - except for the mini cockroaches in the kitchen...I can only say the entire experience was so incredibly disappointing and brought me to tears on what should have been a lovely relaxing and romantice night.|

Fantastic location. ..overlooking Newcastle Town Beach.
Excellent inclusions...great for a short or longer stay. Easy walking distance to restaurants and Hunter Street and Wharf Street venues.
Air conditioner was a little fickle as only living areas could be warmed on Day Setting and Night Setting only warmed bedroom areas.
Comfy beds, plenty of linen. Everything you need to prepare and cook meals.
Lovely toiletries in bathrooms.
Would definately recommend this accommodation. .

Waterfront location, bed comfort and supplies were very good, but the building has a few maintenance and equipment management issues. No phone in the lift, front gate access not working for some time, car exit gate did not fully open.
