The apartment was absolutely filthy. For $600 for the night, I expected it to be clean at least. There were finger prints on the tables, glass windows and doors. There was hair in the bathrooms and both needed a good scrub. Layers of dust in ALL rooms. Disgusted. I would never book it again. It’s unfortunate I didn’t read the reviews beforehand and only took one photo which shows how dusty it was. Felt sick 🤮

Fabulous apartment. Large rooms, huge balcony, good water pressure in showers, fully stocked kitchen. Friendly staff provided details for late check in. Close to trains, buses and light rail. Very good price. Yes I would stay again when next in Newcastle.

Truly is a treasure.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. We slept blissfully; the beds were perfect, the cushions were awesome, the rooms were a really good size, comfortable & clean. All rooms had floor to ceiling wardrobes.

The main room had a on suite bathroom with a toilet/shower/bath. The other 2 rooms had a shared bathroom with toilet/shower.

It also had a laundry room in our unit; self contained kitchen; big dining table; lounge room; awesome views and in the corridor it had heaps of storage space.

The staff were all amazing and were more than happy to help. The Manager is amazing 🙏🙏😍 and truly made our stay feel relaxed and safe.

Secure Parking and room parking spot on sight.

Light Rail was only a 5-7 minute walk (depending on traffic lights). Starting at Newcastle Interchange to Honeysuckle then Civic then Crown Street then Queens Wharf then to Newcastle Beach. We got off at Civic and walked to the restaurants around the water.

When I do a review I always like to find and highlight the positives. So, where do I start with this one? I was travelling with my wife and daughter so I needed a two bedroom apartment, and thought this would fit the bill, which it did in terms of space. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, oodles of space, balcony and secure off street parking. It has Foxtel, a washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher. So thats the positives.

The rest I'm afraid does not make for good reading. The apartment was tired, in need of TLC. The rug in the lounge had large black stains and the general cleanliness left a lot to be desired. We were unable to connect to the internet and when we contacted reception we were informed that the internet was down and would be all weekend. We were not informed of this when we checked in which was disappointing.

For me, the final straw came when we discovered a discarded vape on the settee, which I think sums up the level of attention paid to cleaning. Disgusting!

All in all I do not recommend this place and would suggest that there are far better options for clean, comfortable accommodation in Newcastle.

I would like to add a postscript to this review. When we vacated this hotel we accidentally left a backpack in one of the wardrobes, which contained a valuable camera. When we contacted the hotel a lady called Linda dealt with us. I believe she is the new manager. Linda located the backpack for us and kept it safe until my daughter was able to collect it. A big shout out to you Linda, thank you for all your help, you are a legend.

We stayed on level 2 room 26. The room itself is a great size. However, it’s extremely outdated. The couches look like something you would find on the street. Dirty and visibly damaged. I’d highly recommend investing a little bit of money to purchase some decent furniture. The blinds were ripped and had been taped back together.. The bedrooms STINK. I’m not even sure what the smell is but it’s a musky damp smell. There’s mould. The most concerning part was the bed in the main bedroom. I found several small bugs on the sheets, bed bugs perhaps? I checked the mattress and was disgusted when I seen the state of it. Again this is something you would find on the side of the road. The location was okay, however does feel a bit sketchy.

The unit was spacious and comfortable and the facilities were good, however the cleaning was lacking. Our room was not serviced once in the four days we stayed meaning no fresh towels or linen. We did not see any staff and reception was not open. The gym was good however not open until 7am and closed early at 8pm. Extended hours would have been good.

I reserved this apartment for my family during a wedding weekend, but the condition of the place was unacceptable. I have photos that illustrate just how disgraceful it was. Calling it dirty would be an understatement; the lounge had significant stains, and both the oven and microwave were in a filthy state. The glasses in the cupboards were also unclean, making the overall condition of the apartment shocking. Additionally, the receptionist, when present, was unhelpful and rude in addressing our concerns. Nowhere on your website did it mention that cash is not accepted, which is information that should have been communicated before our arrival.

Personally, I thought this hotel was okay. The hotel rooms were nice and clean with a kitchen and multiple bathrooms, but what was a slight issue in this trip was the service here.

The staff member that was here to help was a delight, she was very nice and cheerful, yet she was the only staff member there. We were also told that people would come clean our rooms every few days we stayed, but instead they never came. And there was no one at the desk on the lobby so we were unable to ask for more towels. For the rest of our trip their still remained no staff available at the desk.

The wifi here was another issue, although there was wifi which was lucky, it didn’t do much help.

I did notice when arriving here that the disabled lift was unavailable, it wasn’t an issue for my travel group but it may be a concern for other’s travelling in wheelchair.

Overall, this hotel wasn’t that bad. I do wish that the service would be more accessible and helpful in the future, but staying here as a short holiday trip was nice.
