had a fantastic family stay (2 adults, 1 child) while visiting family in Newcastle.

GM Richard arranged a room easily even though I was booking last minute. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional on check in and during our entire stay.

Hotel is excellent value and highly recommendable. easy access to all areas in Newcastle.

We will def stay again if we return to Newcastle!

Always immaculate. Room service has a good selection for breakfast. Only problem was the volume of the TV in the adjacent room (top floor). Wasn't a big deal but next stay will be in a lower level soundproof room.

I’m a local who loves the Apollo! Paul the Bar Manager has been so fabulous! (And makes a great Margarita!) I’ve been up on 3 seperate occasions this year and have enjoyed each one! If your a local give happy hour & bar snacks a whirl!

I’ve attached a photo comparison of what we expected versus what we actually received. Very disappointing experience. Awful, unfriendly staff and old, smelly mattresses. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful. We booked a room for three people, but the hotel initially insisted on giving us only one queen bed. Eventually, they added an extra bed, which turned out to be an old, uncomfortable hospital-style bed. It was completely unsuitable for a proper night’s rest and not what we expected. Although it is called a 4-star hotel, the name is just for show. The pool looked more like a dirty, cold pond, we didn’t use it at all, only visited for a photo. The morning staff were much friendlier and more polite, while one of the night staff, a woman, spoke very rudely to guests.

Room was clean and tidy. Staff were excellent and we had a lovely stay. magnificent view from the dining room as well as our room. Breakfast was always delivered on time . We were only there for a couple of days while my husband had an operation

Very clean room and bathroom. Bed really comfortable. We were impressed with no traffic noises!! We ate in the dining room and the food and service was excellent. The waiter was very helpful and considerate (as they should be).

I am absolutely appalled and disgusted. I stayed at your hotel from May 4th to May 5th and was charged for minibar items I didn’t even look at, let alone consume. This isn’t just a careless mistake—it’s fraud. It ruined my trust, my mood, and frankly, my entire stay. How dare you charge guests for things they never used? It’s disgraceful, unprofessional, and downright unacceptable. I demand an immediate explanation, a full refund, and a serious look into how your staff operates. Shameful.

The hotel and all the staff are amazing! We stayed for 3 months and cannot thank them enough. Really kind and always ready to help and make us feel comfortable. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS ❤️
