Honestly quite a spacious booking. Some rooms were a little dirty and tables left sticky but whatever. However customer service was terrible. Our shower was faulty, we tried twisting all the nobs back and forth. Obviously we were annoyed, coupled with a long day at the beach, expecting a warm shower but no, had to rinse by cupping water. When we called the reception, it was off hours so no reply so that’s understandable. So we sent an email to customer service and not only were they not apologetic, they seemed to be accusing us of not being able to use a simple shower?! Mind you, there were only 2 nobs to fiddle with and we fiddles hard. They claim we didnt turn that nob that adjusts water flow but we did. So unless the only water flow they have was leaky faucet and water coming out from all the seams, the shower was not working. Super unhappy and will not come back. Even if the shower was indeed working, customer service did a poor job easing our concerns.

Super annoyed about our recent stay. The place itself was decently roomy and okay clean. The customer service was so horrendous and Ms Ruth absolutely infuriated me. Our shower was a disaster. there were 2 nobs, 1 to adjust something to do with the shower head and one to turn the water on. We twisted and still got nothing but a sad trickle and a little spraying from the seams between the shower head and pipe. After a sweaty day at the beach, all we wanted was a functional shower. We called reception, no answer but it was 1 am so understandable. Emailed support, and they basically called us idiots who couldn’t handle a “simple” shower. Unless “simple” means water leaking from every joint except the actual showerhead, that thing was BROKEN.
Super annoyed and regret my choice of booking 😪 maybe we were unlucky.

Booked the 2 bedroom apartment. Large and spacious living room, as well as bedrooms. Modern clean large kitchen. Comfy enough bed and pillows. Very quiet neighbourhood. Clean, simple, has everything you need! Couches are quite worn out but we didn’t need to use anyways. Overall would stay again! Great value for money.

Awesome 2 bedroom apartment with two bathrooms plus a third toilet, laundry, kitchen, dining room, lounge room and single lockup garage. Impeccable apartment with everything you need. Near new appliances and great location. On the more expensive side of accomodation but I would stay there again just purely because of the size of the apartment and condition of it. Felt brand new.

A spacious 2 bedroom apartment that had all we needed for our weekend of basketball. It was also conveniently located near the courts. The beds very comfortable, bathroom clean with underfloor heating. A spacious living area & all we needed in the kitchen. A washing machine, dryer. A balcony off the main bedroom with a small courtyard front & back. Off street parking with a garage. Friendly helpful staff when I called to check on when O would receive the code to check in with. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights at the Everton Apartments during our stopover at Newcastle with my family of four (2 young children). ||Firstly, these apartments are not apartments, they are in fact townhouses (6 in total). ||There is no place to check in. Prior to arrival, a text message is sent informing us of the apartment we are allocated to as well as the access code for our door keypad (basically it's keyless entry). The payment for the 2 nights, including the $200 bond, is immediately charged to our credit card. Two days after checkout the entire amount is reversed and only the 2 nights are charged. ||There is a single automatic lock up garage (which provides internal access to the home) but be warned, it's really, really narrow but luckily we had no problems. If you've got a larger vehicle, there is also street parking. ||The 2 bedroom modern townhouse is probably around 5+ years old. I particularly liked the kitchen which was large and fully equipped - they provide most things you'll need as well as Chux wipes, tea towels, detergent, scourers, tea, coffee, salt & pepper, cookies (a nice touch!) and there's long life milk in the fridge. Also, there's a can of insect spray which was handy.||Beware - we noticed that the glass panel on the coffee table was chipped. I had to make sure my kids stayed away in case of injury because it looked quite sharp. Ouch!||The 2 king sized beds were very comfortable (2 single beds put together) and the bathroom (no ensuite) was clean. The shower recess is large and water pressure is good. There is a toilet downstairs next to the laundry (laundry detergent was provided). Toiletries are also provided (including make up remover) but best to bring your own because there wasn't enough for the 4 us. We were provided with 1 face towel only. Also, no tissues are provided. ||Location wise, it was just ok. These 'apartments' are tucked away in the suburbs smack bang in the middle of some inner city residential area. It's approximately 10 minutes drive to the Newcastle CBD so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't have a car - it can be quite inconvenient however it wasn't a problem for us.||The closest place to dine at is Beaumont Street (a few minutes drive). We also drove to Darby Street for nice cafes and restaurants.||Before departing, it is expected that the kitchen and dishes are cleaned, packed away and all rubbish is taken outside to the Solo bins otherwise you could incur a fine. ||I forgot to mention that a wifi password was also provided to us via the welcome text message however complimentary internet access is limited each day. Anyhow, it was very much appreciated!||We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - felt quite homey and comfortable. If you would like a change from the usual serviced apartments and hotels, then you might like it here.
