Had a great stay. Central location to a lot of places to eat and drink within the main part of Canberra but transport is required to get to the big attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well stocked with lovely lemongrass scented toiletries. Considering we were there just prior to Easter the rates were reasonable and when I to change my room to add another person, it was done without any hassle or an exorbitant fee.

Enjoyed my 3 nights recently on a work trip. Ideally located, clean well appointed rooms and I was LUCKY enough to snare a park in the council car park at the rear of the hotel each night, but I wouldn’t count on it.|The staff were ok and check in was easy however I checked my visa balance and was charged for items from the mini bar I didn’t take, a quick phone call and sorted no problems so can’t complain too much.|If you have kids, a disability or the weather is bad with no on-site parking, it might not be for you. 4 stars minus 1 for no parking.

We had a fantastic experience at The Sebel Hotel Canberra. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities you'd expect from a high-end hotel. It has got a kitchenette with some utensils, Microwave, fridge, Ironing table and toiletries. Coffee and tea options available especially with a nespresso machine.

The location is perfect—close to restaurants, shops, and major attractions like Canberra Centre, making it ideal for both business and leisure. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet atmosphere, which made for a very restful stay.

The attention to detail and overall service were top-notch. I highly recommend The Sebel to anyone visiting Canberra. It’s a true gem and definitely deserves five stars!

Good hotel and well situated. Only issue was the family apartment we had was that was set for wheelchair access and drainage was not the best which flooded the bathroom after every shower.

Friendly staff and very help full. One big down side of this hotel is that there is no onsite parking so you have to either park on the street (if you find a spot and pay per hour) or park in the shopping centre and pay the overnight fee. We got told that on the weekends you could park in the shopping centre for $3 per night for weekend fee. but when we went out we had to pay $16 which was more than what the hotel said.

The hotel is very central, and easy access to shopping centre and main attractions in Canberra.

We enjoyed a five-night stay at this apartment hotel, 616 a Superior Room, bright, with adequate comfortable furniture and kitchenette facilities, the bed allowing restful sleep and the large window with a nice outlook to the Government Buildings and the Civic Square opposite. Serviced daily and maintained in pristine & hygienic condition. Reception welcoming and efficient and helpful when required during our stay. Many attractions and restaurants are within walking distance and the expansive Canberra Centre with its seemingly myriad outlets nearby. I would have rated our stay at 5* except the hotel does not have its own restaurant, therefore we were unable to take advantage of the dining discounts afforded by our Accor membership. The Sebel website indicates that Breakfast à la carte is available but does not mention that the café and restaurant are independent of the property, somewhat misleading in my opinion. That said, my wife and I would have no hesitation in staying at this property if again visiting Canberra.

The Sebel Civic is close to the city centre and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. We were travelling with two small dogs and the room was of a high standard. Will definitely stay at the Sebel Civic on future visits to Canberra.

Room was clean. Perfect location. A major issue was not having tea or coffee in the room on any day. We had to constantly ask for it. ( I only drinks 3 cups a day so it’s not a big ask)
Gym was well appointed. Walking distance to heaps of restaurants, attractions and nightlife.?

the overall location is great but you have to park quite far away.
the rooms are just like any budget hotel. was surprised that the bathroom was not really clean. the tiles looks more like it was wiped instead of scrubbed as the grout were not clean
