Lambrigg lookout shocked me the first day I visited here as I learnt about William Farrer, who was on the $2 bill from 1966 to 1988, now i can say as a kids I just wanted to spend the $2 note on lollies!

This lookout is about 10kms from Lanyon market centre,
After I attended to this lookout, I had taken on a different perspective to the man with the wheat on the $2 dollar note Mr Farrer and his wife...

To all who are interested in this, you will be able to read a little bit in one of my photos, and to get a real perspective, you might like to visit beautiful Lanyon Homestead just off Tharwa Dr...

Lambrigg lookout has great views over looking at the farming area. There's a small carparking area with no toilets, but a public toilet block can be found at Tharwa 5kms away.

We live near here, it's a great place to explore. There's a ton of Pattinson's curse blooming this spring (2020). No toilet or anything, just a quick place to stop and stretch your legs.

A real interesting lookout that overlooks the valley, where an amazing English man whom at the turn if the centery created a high yield wheat by crossing different wheat varieties and trialing them in the valley below.
This high yield wheat variety changed the world of wheat production.
He was so focused on this endeavor that he turned down an inheritance that awaited him in his home country to continue this amazing work.
Sadly he didn't get to see the impact of his wheat variety on the world, as he died soon after it's release.
Lambriggs picture appears on the Australia ten dollar note, that's in circulation today.

I've given the lookout a 5star for the memory of this amazing man and what he did not only for Australia but for the world.
Where as the lookout need a little bit of tender love and care, so please watch your step.

It's a lookout, nice views, and you can see Canberra in the distance. It would be cool here at night to see the blinking lights of Canberra in the distance under a night sky
