5 stars all the way for this jem.
I think this may be my go-to place whenever I'm visiting Canberra.
I had one of the smaller pet friendly cabins, which was cosy and clean. The staff here are really friendly and helpful, which made for an awesome stay.
Definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here back in January, of 2025 it was a beautiful clean park and well worth staying at. Why I give it 5 stars is because while there I lost my wedding ring in the pool, I put in a lost and found notice and 3 months later I got phone call saying they found it. They sent it back May of 2025 with no issue. This kind of customer service is rare and deserves top tier recognition โค๏ธ Thank you ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’—

I would say value for money. We booked cabin with 2 kids. The cabin was comfortable with basic amenities provided. The facility have a pool through water was not great, but good for hot summer. The common kitchen had no utensils just an oven and fridge. Few beds in our cabin had no bed sheets on them. The water in tap is not drinkable so please get your own. The location was quiet and you can enjoy a nice lake view. I would be happy to go again with bit more preparation . Bathrooms had only hand soap .

A single top loader washing machine & a single dryer in the laundry at the far end & nearby reception a laundry with 2 of each. We stayed 2 weeks & saw many campers coming & going. Description of โ€œgrass siteโ€ is actually all gravel - probably better for preventing mud & erosion. Plenty of trees but with that comes plenty of bird poop - we tried to park our car under our awning to save it. Gravel for van & shade cloth on the ground for stepping out of the van or parking the car. Water claims to be spring but has a lot of minerals, leaving white residue & after a taste determined it still seems treated with chlorine, so we didnโ€™t drink without filter. Staff were lovely. Area was fairly quiet but so many cars close together meant a bit of engine noise throughout the park. However, people were respectful & no rowdy crowds. Dedicated camp spots for those with furry friends to roam freely inside a fenced area. Rubbish bins near each site & collected often. Very clean amenities though a little run down, however not impacting comfort. A playground in sand, volleyball in sand, tennis/basketball court, swimming pool, putt-putt & several shaded tables & chairs. Plenty of rabbits around at night. Wifi was reliable. Several camp kitchens, enclosed & open to the air, 1 with a vending machine with snacks. A large good quality park overall with everything one needs. 20 minutes into Canberra city.

The place has gone downhill they have Cameras everywhere hidden in all the lights I even seen them in trees. If you don't care about being watched the whole time your there then go to the sh-t whole. The roads have holes everywhere they probably have Cameras in them also. Hidden cameras in trees on the light poles under the cabins at the pool you are under surveillance 24/7 even if it feels like your not walk at night take pictures with your phone and you will see hundreds of cameras.

We stayed at an unpowered tent site, was good, loved the atmosphere. But we do not recommend the pool, our little one (1year) got a middle ear infection presumably due to the pool water.
We would stay there again but not using the pool again.

It was good overall, BUT! we found a note written under the mattress and it said something like Iโ€™m coming for you Rachel. We also had snotty tissues stuffed into our mattress. Food that we got served wasnโ€™t good either. When we walked into our room there was sand everywhere on the floor. Surprising, we also found an old man standing outside of our room at 2:00 am. It was okay, but there walks are VERY thin. Tape water is also not drinkable, please bring your own or if your desperate walk 3km to the nearest fill up tap where we seen a snake and an abandoned kitchen. Thankyou for reading
