We hired Sanctuary to hold our team Christmas Party, and it was the perfect space for our event. Lauren and Jaqui were a delight to work with and made hiring Sanctuary a breeze. The space was all set up for us ready to go, which made our event fairly relaxed and straight forward. Highly recommend Sanctuary for anyone needing an events space in Canberra!

Sanctuary is hands down the most beautiful studio space in Canberra!
Peacocks will usually greet you at the door. And as soon as you enter you can feel the warmth and great energy. The floor to ceiling windows with sheer curtains, bath the large venue in gorgeous natural light. And there is wall mounted seamless backdrops. There is ample space for studio lighting and multiple background options. With furniture and props available for lifestyle sessions.
Sanctuary is more than just a studio and venue space, Sanctuary is a welcoming community. I am honored to be the studio manager at Sanctuary, and to share creativity and tea with such amazing people every Tuesday.

We have had the pleasure of hosting two fabulous fashion pop-up events here this year, including styling sessions and fashion parades, and I can't recommend this gorgeous space enough! The venue is spacious, beautifully styled, and has everything you need – including furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. Plus, there’s plenty of parking and accessibility options.
A huge shoutout to our amazing host, Lauren, who has been so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Oh how I love this space! Not only is it a beautiful event space - or studio in my experience - it’s so open and versatile! I’ve photographed so many beautiful moments at Sanctuary and will absolutely continue to do so. Working with Lauren has been wonderful! She’s attentive, super helpful and friendly, no question is ever too much or too silly. I’m looking forward to working with her more in the future. Highly recommend - for almost anything honestly, I just love the Sanctuary studio!

What a wonderful venue, and still a secret! We held an event last Monday which turned out a little larger than expected, but as Lauren had allowed us to use all the spaces it went perfectly. The venue is so refreshingly bright and the kitchen area is handy and well equipped. Our younger guests were delighted to see the peacocks!! Thank you Lauren for your generosity in a difficult time.

I recently atended a mini retreat in Sydney. As soon as I arrived I felt welcome. The presenters Evelyn and Greer were thoughtful and caring in their sessions and were able to tailor activities to suit the participants. Lauren took care of bookings and the hospitality, including an awesome afternoon tea enjoyed by all. I left feeling relaxed and more focused.
