Spacious and clean rooms. We stayed during the Easter break. It was an excellent experience. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable. The service was also excellent. For car parking, we have to use the public car parking right opposite to the hotel, but there is ample amount of parking space (paid parking in weeks days, but free on week ends). All the reception staff was very helpful . The kitchen is loaded with cutlery and utensils

that we need for a simple cooking.Thank You team.

We returned to this hotel for its reasonable prices and location. |This time we stayed in a family room, similar to before. Parking in the parking lot over the weekend is free. Be sure to pay for parking from 8.30am if parking on a weekday. |The room was well appointed and comfortable. Everything was clean and kitchen has all the utensils you need for 4. There was a fridge, stove top and microwave.| The only thing that could be an issue was the washing/drying machine. It was working but it was so loud we had to turn it off mid spin cycle as it would have made a racket for our neighbours. We didn't dare use the drying function but happy that the clothes just dried themselves by hanging them up overnight. |We couldn't turn off the air conditioning - but thought that it was just set that way. |The reception person was a bit unhelpful. I booked a package with late check-out and they didn't mention anything about the inclusions and I had to ask for my pantry voucher. |Overall, it was a nice stay. Issues above are minor and I will happily come back.

If you have an occasion within Woden, this is an ideal location although if you have a car, getting around Canberra is not a problem. There is no onsite parking although there is a public car park right opposite - see photo of view from bedroom with charges during office hours weekdays but other times free; good if you are spending the weekend there. Front desk has one person, so you can wait for ages if the person front of you in the queue has an issue and you will have to wait. Rooms are clean and represents good value. Food delivery from downstairs restaurant beats the usual room service and is fast and represents good value.

Would have been better to have underground parking.
Garbage collections from rooms with young children.
Better access to room service
However all other things are extremely positive. Rooms were very clean, updated furniture. Easy to use room and elevator cards.

The Good: Nice views. Friendly staff. Food from the restaurant is great.

The Bad: Location is a little hard to find with all the roadworks happening in the area. Room smelt like stale curry. Had to purchase air freshener from the nearby convenience store to combat the smell. Also the room needed a good clean (especially the bathroom).

Hotel food spaghetti made me terribly ill, the picture online showed a salad with it but it came as shown in the picture attached for $15, I was throwing up all night. I’m quite sure it was sitting in a warmer all day and not made fresh.
Beds are also so soft to a point I couldnt sleep, the sheets are not fitted so during the restless night you end up sleeping directly on a mattress.
Also air conditioner can’t be turned off and windows can’t be opened.

After a long days work, we checked in to who we thought was a lovely lady. The booking was done through a third party agent on behalf of our company and we do not handle payments, however this lady told us to call the company to confirm payment etc. How did this become our job, the booking was made earlier that day and payment came through at a later time. This little experience already was annoying enough after a super long day, but after walking into this wonderful room with heaps of space i was pleasantly surprised. All of the creature comforts one could ask for and then some, let down again by not having any body wash in the shower space and the bottle by the sink was bolted to the wall. Bed was thrashed and had an enormous bent in the middle, pillows were not the greatest either. The peace and quiet made up for it even though the hotel is adjacent to a bus terminal the view from the window was pleasant. The cafe/bar downstairs had a great selection of food and drinks.

The rooms are a good size and clean, a comfortable bed and pillows. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal, offering easy access to Woden plaza and Hellenic club. Very quiet room. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers. The only downside was the parking across the road, you had to get up and get to the ticket machine by 8:30 am. Was advised of an app to use but was glitchy and not working so didn't get a sleep in after a long trip.
