Fantastic location and venue. Main restrurant set on the river, with fantastic sunset views
However, steaks from the grill do not represent that money. $52 for the thinnest scotch fillet I’ve ever seen in my life !!!
And the paranoia about removing menus from the table was remarkable, four times in the 25 minute period
In saying that
Great up market wine selection and along with the dessert offer, perfect to enjoy the sunset
Will be back for the wine, dessert and sunset !

Nice quiet town.
Went to Ballina RSL for lunch, we were not fussed on the food.
We didn't find alot to do either.

I visited Ballina for work and had dinner here. The atmosphere, vibe, customer service, and most importantly, the food was exceptional. I had the baconator and apple crumble on day 1 and the godzilla burger with vanilla tart on day 2. It was amazing .
The service was amazing.
I would highly recommend this place.

Colleagues and I visited the Ballina RSL three times during our week long work visit, and were thoroughly impressed each time.
We hadn't booked, but the amazing Anna remembered us on our following visits and was able to find us a table. All staff were incredibly helpful and kind.
The food was incredible - we've been raving about the steak non-stop! We'll definitely be back on our next visit up!

While on holiday with my family, I saw an advert for this venue and it looked so good, I immediately told my wife I wanted to go. So that night we walked into the main entrance of the RSL and were greeted with a friendly smile and supportive team, how guided us through the massive venue and into the dinning room. We were the. Welcomed by lovely staff and seated in the window seats with a magical view. The bar staff were super friendly and chatted to me while making our drinks. Our food was delivered in record time and cooked perfectly. The service definitely no let down with our empty glasses and plates being collected almost as soon as we finished.
Such a wonderful place for dinner in a nice relaxing atmosphere with a great view. It was so enjoyable watching the kids fishing off the pier also. Definitely will be back again when in the area.

Came for the free weekly Monday night trivia. What a great way to spend the evening! There were 6 rounds of all different topics and formats, including general knowledge, wheel of fortune and guess the movie!
The food was all the pub classics! I enjoyed a delicious parmi, while others in my family had tacos, lamb shank and pork belly. The sticky date pudding was super moist, though the butterscotch sauce was a tad bit grainy.

Great location, pricey food that was a bit underwhelming. We were a work group and people commented that the pork belly was a bit bland with some tough skin to cut through and the steaks were on the small side for $54

The service was good and meal quite tasty and well cooked. I found the menu missing a few favourites but what was there was very well cooked and presented. Sadly a few items were sold out. During our meal we were presented with an amazing view/sunset.
