Bear with Me is one of those great little cafes that you could just sit in and have a long breakfast every single day.

Its menu is delicious, serves all the usual drinks that you would ever want and has it take away as well.

Worth the short drive out of the city for breakfast if you are visiting Hobart.

Weekend Breakfast at Bear With Me – A Delightful Experience! 🐻☕

This past weekend, I visited Bear With Me for breakfast. As expected, it was quite busy – a popular weekend spot – but I was lucky to find a table outside.

This place is known for its excellent service and quality, and once again, I was warmly welcomed. This time, I decided to try something different and ordered the Turkish Eggs and Avocado on Toast. Both dishes were exceptional – beautifully presented and with perfectly balanced flavors. Kudos to the chef! 👨‍🍳✨

The atmosphere is always lovely and inviting – definitely a must-visit café in the area.

As always, I went for my all-time favorite: the Dirty Chai. While they don’t have it listed on the menu, they do have Chai. So if you’re a fan like me, just order the Chai and an espresso on the side – you can mix it yourself right at the table! It was a fun little twist and tasted absolutely divine. 🫶

Prices are fair for a café of this standard, and overall, I had a fantastic experience.
I loved it and highly recommend it!

They are using the famous Ona coffee, but somehow they didn’t bring out the same flavor.

We went there for a late breakfast and everything's amazing. I love how the menu is kind of Asian inspired and they made it so good. Me and my friend love the dandan noodles which is a perfect balance of the creamy nutty flavors that cut by a tangy sour pickled cabbage and the chili oil also very aromatic. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, one of them even offer to take a photo for us even when they're quite busy. Definitely coming back if we're ever in Hobart again, love the overall vibes of the place so much and the music is great as well. 10 10 10👌💕

Viv and Alicia always provide an incredible experience - regardless of whether you’re popping by for a quick take away coffee, or if you’re dining solo for a meal.

All the staff are friendly, engaging, and welcoming. Although I’m from Melbourne (and usually visit because I’m travelling for work), this feels like my local neighbourhood cafe when I’m down in Hobart.

Would highly recommend the grains and greens bowl - this menu item has evolved over the years but still remains incredible!

This may well be the best Cafe in Hobart right now. It would easily place among the upper echelon in Melbourne or Sydney, and that is no small feat. The Benedict was outstanding along with the coffee. An absolute must if you're visiting Tasmania.
