Easily the best place we stayed during our Tassie trip. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with homemade bread and local ingredients. Both Robert and Allie were incredibly company and gave local recommendations. The church was stunning, I’d recommend the Oak Room as it had a beautiful view of the cows next door.

Absolutely amazing place with the best hosts. The entire stay was relaxing and comfortable, with cozy rooms, gorgeous views and a delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread. Highly recommend!

We sadly only stayed one night... we have been travelling around Tasmania and Australia for several weeks from the UK and Robert and his wonderful church was definitely the best place we have stayed by far. Robert is very welcoming host and took time to show us around telling us lots of the history of the building and making bus feel very welcome. The Church is beautiful as are the surrounding gardens and fields. Our room and breakfast was wonderful... Thank you for a wonderful stay xx

This charming church and graveyard is complimented by a lovely cottage garden and magnificent views of green paddocks with cows, sheep and swans, ducks.|Robert , Allie and Taco the parrot are very hospitable hosts. We were even offered a home cooked dinner before arriving.|We had the king room with private bathroom. If you rent any other room you have to go downstairs to use the bathroom. Bed was very comfy.|Our only concern was cleanliness; it really needed a good vacuum and bathroom needed mopping and shower screen and around sink needed cleaning.

What a unique and amazing stay! We would send our friends and family here for sure! The food was really good! Robert is a special and amazing host! We stayed in the king room and the only thing to note is that the private bathroom isn’t attached - u do need to step into the hall. The house is old so sound travel can be an issue- though the other guests were nice and quiet. Very cool to have a beer in the old church - walk the grounds and cemetery- and catch a glimpse of platypus in the pond nearby. Wifi was surprisingly good. Room had a little heater so we were cozy on a cold April night. Very special stay in a v special place.
