We stayed in the Pioneer Cottage and it was extremely cozy and enjoyable. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the owners really made us feel welcome. We loved the local produce provided and walking around the property in the afternoon accompanied by the 3 friendly dogs. The location was a comfortable distance for reaching Cradle Mountain and other sights by car.

I stayed in one of the Aerial Cottages and could not have been happier. It’s a stunning location, and a lot of thought/care has gone into the design and kitting out of these cottages. Particularly loved the spa on the deck and the bathroom! Would recommend to my friends.

Wonderful hosts (including the 3 doggies who should us around 😄). Very big area with separate bedroom, sitting area, dining area and bathroom. You can park your car in front of your unit. They even place heater blanket to keep you warm. They provide every thing you will need to stay comfortable and relax.

Fantastic place to stay. Cozy, beautiful, luxurious cottages with all the essentials. The welcome wine and cheese board was delicious and the hot tub in the Ariel cottage is awesome. The farm was so nice to walk around too and Shane and his wife were such wonderful hosts. So accommodating and friendly. Loved going on afternoon walks around the farm. Would absolutely stay there again and cannot recommend it highly enough

We have stayed here a couple of times now. We love it for the view from the hot tub on the verandah. The little cabin has everything you need. Great little kitchen, huge bathroom and super comfy bed. The fire place is awesome. Warms up the whole cabin. Another great addition is a fresh loaf of sourdough, fresh farm eggs, milk and butter and some bacon too. What a lovely way to start the day 🙂 Thanks for your hospitality Steve. We will be back.

We had 2 enjoyable nights in the Hobbit cottage (previous stay in this cottage was 2014 and we stayed in Ariel 1 in 2021). It is a lovely heritage cottage with a wood fire and plenty of room. You get breakfast provisions and full oven to cook. The property is beautiful and the area is lovely. Our only issue is that the chairs in the lounge are not comfy at all. We gave Yuko this feedback as we left which was graciously received. We will be back.

What a gem!! Super friendly and helpful hosts. Loved the locally sourced organic food hamper that we found in the kitchen. Comfy cabins and friendly dogs. Will definitely come again.

What a beautiful stay! We stayed at the truffle oak cottage and it was just so lovely. Shane and Yuko are great hosts and have such a lovely property. The bed was dreamy and I already miss it, the bath tub I am trying to convince my husband to get me one and the breakfast they supply is amazing, I loved the cream on top milk.
Mole creek is a beautiful part of the world and we are so happy we stayed there, the caves are highly recommended as is the pub or even a bottle of wine watching the turbo chooks frolick from the tub as the sun goes down.
If you are planning on heading to cradle mountain a night or two at blackwood is worth it. I wouldn't recommend driving back from cradle in the dark as the roads are quiet hairy but if you are so inclined it is doable, but a stop in on your way to cradle mountain is a must.
