Wow. We really enjoyed the serenity of the park but still close to SOT and town if required. Lovely animals roaming happily with guests. Welcoming, helpful friendly owners (Simon and Dianne). Amenities very cleanand smell fresh with music. Laundry and kitchen fantastic. Water was hot. Can't wait to visit again.

This place should be a model for caravan parks. The services are excellent and the place is a bit in the middle of nowhere a bit but saying that 15 minutes from big towns in most directions. If we had known about it earlier we would have been here more often. Great camp kitchen but unfortunately the park had backpackers. They tend to not play by rules. We have had experience with this before. Backpackers will soon ruin the chance to get into these places because all the owners we speak to have had enough.

Great park we will definitely return.

Very nice owners. We rocked up in August with no booking, was fairly quiet so there was a number of powered sites to choose from. Clean amenities with everything you need. free wifi worked well. We saw 2 platypus swimming around in the nearby pond, which was a highlight for us.

Love staying at this park, the caravan sites are spacious, amenities the cleanest of anywhere we have stayed. Location is just glorious, suits us and our dog greatly.
Caretakers are always going above and beyond to make sure our stay is great. We have had our van for just over a year, and we have been there six times for a minimum of three nights each time. Would be more if we didn't work. It's our go to caravan park because of the care and cleanliness that is put into this place. Love love love Lakeside Caravan Park.

I lived there for 3 months. It's a beautiful caravan park with good facilities, really clean. The cabins are modern and cosy. There is the arboretum just behind, 5 minutes by walk. During the summer you can also go into the river for a swim. There is a lot of nature.

Very lovely campground. Very clean amenities. Hot showers. Modern, nicely furnished and well equipped camp kitchen and lounge area. Grassy, spacious and level sites. There is a small lake at the back of the campground where you can watch a platypus in the morning and afternoon. The manager was super friendly and helpful. I had an accident and cut myself and she was very caring, provided me with first aid and came back later to check on me. Would highly recommend this campground. Wish we could habe stayed longer.
