We were absolutely delighted by the apartment, how clean it was , the view over the sea and the way it was furnished.
We had two nights here , desperate for some rest and relaxation and we loved the village , the walks , the lovely locals and the choice of food options.
We couldn’t recommend this place higher and we will be back !

Should explain on booking what room you are booking, upstairs or downstairs. A reasonable view downstairs but looked like a beautiful view from upstairs. Was disappointed. Plus was not into the Retro decor.

10 out of 10||Honestly can’t recommend this place enough.|I had just finished washing my clothes, the dryer didn’t work( it’s being replaced tomorrow). So Beth cone upstairs in the rain, took my wet clothes and returned them folded and dry( this is not a provided service, just a one of). That’s such a wonderful thing for her to do. Also the property is spotless, amazing view, has everything and more that you need. A full-size two bedroom apartment with extra large balcony overlooking the beach. Next door to all the shop incltIGA.

beautiful apartment lovely large rooms and wow what a view from balcony that you can sit and view the beach and watch the world go by. Centrally located to beach, supermarkets, and great eateries. Kitchen had everything, main bathroom had large tub to soak in, even bedroom no 2 was roomy and with separate bathroom and loo. Would recommend it, sadly we only stayed one night. Very Happy.

We spent 3 nights here last week and it was absolutely wonderful. Apartment was spotless, sunny, self contained and so very relaxing. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Terry for your hospitality and we will catch up for that beer next trip. For those who haven't stayed in Penguin you don't know what your missing.

We are a family of 6 (3 generations traveling together). We agree that this is the best accommodation during our stay in Tasmania. We had apartments 1 and 3. 3 is good for a couple and 1 is ideal for a family of four. The large apartment (1) on the upper level has 2 large bedrooms and a huge beautifully furnished apartment that was nearly as big as my house! The views were amazing. 360 degree views of the ocean. Photos dont do it justice as it really is so beautiful. We wish we had stayed longer but its our first trip to Tassie. Next time we know to book longer. Penguin is a beautiful town. We also visited Burnie and saw Penguins come up on the beach at night. This is a very special part of the world. The hosts were friendly and very good with communicating. I highly recommend you stay here.

What a great Retro Apartment no 3 is. Very comfortable. Walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Libby and Terry very friendly and accommodating although they were away. A special Thankyou Bev.
