Overnight stay with 3 other women. The place was exceptionally clean with a well stocked kitchen. The bedrooms were individually distinctive and stylishlishly decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Two bathrooms had good showers and a lovely bath. I felt like I was in an episode of Escape to the Country with all the cottage trappings and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We didn’t know Launceston but it was easy to get around and Ellie’s Place is well situated.

We have 7Adults and 2children with 2cars, elderly and both children below 10. We have various consideration and concerns when selecting an accommodation for 2 nights. Reading thru the reviews, we selected Twyford. However, due to some unforeseen, the owner asked if we are willing to change to Ellie's place but no obligation. In view of her kindness to help a needy, we have accepted her offer. The owner is friendly and helpful, we have all we need in the house. ||This house is beyond our expectation, the fragrance of the flowers welcomed us warmly. We love this house, the colour combination, the setting, design, we just didn't have enough of Ellie's place. The house is with build-in heater, there is a row of hanger right at the door to hang our bulky jackets... The is a bedroom on the ground level, a toilet, living, dinning, open concept fully equipped kitchen...plus a lovely back courtyard filled with flowers. There are 4 bedroom on the 2nd level but only 1 toilet. The rooms are lovely, beds are comfortable ....||||There was a garden opp the house, quiet and peacefully, the children love it. We found a 24hours Coles and K Mart about 5min drive away, there was amazing... ||||We love this house, it's value for money and should we visit Tas again, this will be our 1st choice. Thanks Bronwyn for adding such beautiful memories to our trip.

Six family and friends stayed 5 nights at Ellie's Place while attending a family wedding and exploring the local sights. Ellie's Place is like staying in a home of "yesteryear". You are immediately transported to the elegance of the past while enjoying all modern conveniences. There is so much to marvel at from the beautifully decorated rooms to a delightful outdoor area. The house comes with a well appointed kitchen should you wish to whip up a few culinary delights. This is an ideal venue for a group to enjoy, relax and enjoy the past. Although it may appear a little expensive, the location, space and atmosphere far outweigh a slick hotel with a sterile room experience. We all loved our Launceston stay and plan to return in the future.

This beautiful little cottage is full of character & curated like a museum of period pieces. The beds are all very comfy & full kitchen useful. Located right on City Park makes it perfect for exploring the city. The formal lounge is most comfy & there are plenty of areas for everyone to spread out. We loved our stay here ❤️

Ellie's Place is like walking into someone's much loved and cosy home. What a little gem of a house. Two stories, with the four bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is another bathroom, lounge room, family room and kitchen at the back. There is room to park a car at the back of the property off the street. You couldn't find anywhere more central in Launceston. Looking onto the Park which you walk through to the city centre. This lovingly restored cottage is an absolute credit to the owners. Everything you could possibly want and need is there. Its like home away from home. Clean as a whistle. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Launceston and I cant wait to stay here again.

A lovely old property opposite City Park and close to central Launceston. We enjoyed the area so much we didn’t spend much time at the property but had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The bathrooms were good, the decoration quirky and there was outside space too!

Set across from the park, this quaint 'little' house is particularly well stocked with everything you need. Immaculate in every way. 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms, large kitchen, 2 sitting areas. We didnt want to leave.

We stayed two nights in this lovely place and had trouble tearing ourselves away to visit places. Walk through City Park across the road to visit the laid back Saturday growers market. Have dinner at Smokey Joes just down the street. Buy provisions from the nearby shops. Visit wineries in the Tamar Valley. Most of all just enjoy the tranquility of the cottage. Highly recommended.
