Had dinner here tonight. Love the open kitchen on display. The food and service were amazing. We both really enjoyed our dinner and dessert. My steak of the day was cooked perfectly, medium rare. My wife had the potato gnocchi, and she loved it.

Hey, this is not just a great place for a swanky lunch or dinner. There’s a cafe too! It’s one of my favourite places to cool my heels on a busy day in town, as it’s spacious and relaxed and there’s easy seating as well as cafe tables. And free newspapers! So my tasty chicken slider was accompanied by Brad Pitt - an article about said actor. All my needs met.

Good food and ambience ruined by poor service. We made reservations many months in advance and were anticipating a nice dinner. However, it was not to be. There was a window table available at the point that we arrived (on time) but were rudely informed that it was reserved (so was our table?)...and it continued to be reserved (unoccupied) for the next hour while we had our dinner..... the wait staff in general could do with more training, example don't wipe the table with same cloth that they wiped the floor.

We had the pleasure of starting three mornings in a row at Grain of the Silos, and each visit confirmed just how consistent and impressive this restaurant is.

Set inside the Peppers Silo Hotel, the atmosphere is relaxed but polished, with gorgeous views and a strong sense of place. The menu champions local produce and the kitchen clearly knows how to make breakfast something to look forward to, but do keep an eye out for unavailability, which seemed common.

The coffee was ok, nothing to write home about, but gave you that jump start, the dishes like the Tassie smoked salmon or eggs your way was nice, well presented and tasted as expected. Portion sizes were just right—satisfying without being heavy—and the service was always warm and attentive, even on the busiest morning.

We ordered calamari for starter , then Waguu meatball and pasta of the day for main . Food was good in general , their pickles are made in house which tastes quite nice. Relaxing atmosphere and waitress was attentive to our need .

Didn't know what to expect but wow. I had the market fish with spring steamed veg. . Dinner date had pasta rague, we shared a side.of cauliflower gratin. Staff are excellent and when asked recommendation were very knowledgeable.

Loved the food. Amazing food decoration. Great tastes!
The salad with walnut and fennel was one of the best salads I’ve had. Everyone must try.
