Brunch was simply delicious. Menu was both extensive and innovative. Desserts to die for, which we bought to take home. Plus a gift shop to browse as well.

My Rueben style sandwich was ok. I was disappointed with the limp pickle. But overall it was good.

Fresh orange juice and delicious food. However the portions are small and it took 40 min to be served. Unfortunately the food came cold and their prices are expensive considering the small size. The coffee was also good.

Stopped by here with my partner and in-laws to have a bite to eat before we headed to the wetlands for a walk. The menu was interesting and offered a lot of different variety of food to cater for our different tastes.
Lunch Menu

Ramen, Vegetarian option (with Tofu)
Ordered by MIL and she loved it. The flavors were spot on not too salty and the proportion was generous enough to not leave you feeling too bloated. The pickled vegetables were the favorite of the dish.

Chicken Katsu Burger
Definitely recommend. I wanted a burger and decided to try out the katsu burger and it did not disappoint. The Asian influenced slaw was so tasty (and not enough – I could have this on its own). The perfect mix of freshness and mayonnaise to make this burger flavorsome but not reliant on the sauce. Where the sauce runs down your hand when you’re trying to take a bite of the burger. This came with fries with was not too oily and crispy and fluffy on the inside.
24 hour glazed pulled pork Bao
The bao was perfectly baked. My partner can be particular with the thickness of bread and the bao for these were the right thickness. Not all dough. The filling was generous and he had to eat is slowly to ensure the filling didn’t just end up on his plate.

We were all disappointed when we finished our food. Do tasty and satisfying, but all agreed that would go back and or could eat the same dish again happily. Definitely recomm3end stopping by for lunch if you’re in the area.

Interiors
Hardware flooring and textured walls. Really simply modern rustic interiors with bench seating and flexible tables to pull apart of push together.

There is also seating outside to catch some sun. There were no umbrellas up the day we visited, therefore we sat indoors.

Good lighting and acoustics for conversation. We sat near the pick-up station for food and it didn’t bother us at all. The kitchen staff and wait staff were professional and kept the area clear so we didn’t feel squished or in the way.

Staff
All staff were professional and attentive. Topping up our water and clearing tables while taking more drink orders, all with a polite nod and confirmation of our orders. Even though the lunch session was pretty full, staff was available and polite the entire time.

Fast service, delicious food. I really enjoyed the green bowl. Far superior to the one I had elsewhere, yesterday. Drink was tasty and hot. Service was good and friendly.

The young waitress was lovely. My son was in a pram and she asked where I would like to sit and said she would help me by moving some chairs out of the way so I could get through with my pram and offered me a high chair. Very friendly and a very positive experience. Quite refreshing given young people in hospitality usually don’t seem to care these days. So this makes me feel bad giving it an overall 2 star review.
The meal, however, wasn’t great. I ordered the fruit toast which was basically thick cut fruit bread which had not been toasted, only grill marks made on the outside. Doughy inside. Served with jam and three tiny cubes of rock hard butter which I could not spread onto said grill marked bread.
The young woman in the kitchen looked extremely unenthused and even the wait staff appeared to be unimpressed by her demeanour.
I would say this cafe has changed hands as it used to have amazing food, but if the ‘toast’ if anything to go by, I would say you would be disappointed!

Had an amazing “all day” Saturday breakfast today.
Staff are very welcoming and engaging.
Chilli Eggs were very enjoyable and Coffee was perfect.
A great easy to start our Saturday.
