I like the Swamp Cafe, you can always rely on some great choices of yummy food and good coffee.
With friendly staff and alfresco dining where you can sit with your favorite pooch and watch the cars go by.
Easy access and plenty of free, street parking close by.

Most other times this cafe has been fine BUT on this day I walked in and there was a couple waiting at he counter. Not sure if they where ordering or paying. There was no one at or behind the counter. Could not hear anything from behind the counter. A couple minutes later there where approx 6 people waiting, not including me.
All of a sudden you could hear chatter from behind the counter and a lady and man approached us all and our needs where met.To this day I have no idea what the people who do the service where

This place advertises ‘quality food, coffee and art’ and it fails on all accounts. I don’t understand how a lacklustre cafe like this still operates in this day and age. Had eggs on toast and it was the thinnest, whitest, cheapest bread one can possibly buy. Colleague had pancakes - acceptable for pre-made pancakes with previously frozen berries, now zapped in the microwave and cream from a can. Avoid if you can. Also I know art is what one makes it, but clearly the artwork is done by the cafe’s mother/wife/uncle/child.

I've witnessed the owner be rude to her staff and customers on more than one occasion. The girls have always been welcoming and friendly. I feel for them

In my over 10 years of working in hospitality I have never seen someone so rude to their staff and customers. The little older lady with the short dark hair was a horrible example of a boss or a manger or whatever she has been placed as and as for the food it was cheaply made, bland and not acceptable even for just a small cafe that I did not have high expectations for.

If i could fire that short haired little "lady" i would, the staff were great and did'nt deserve to be yelled at and spoken too like they were dirt on the floor the managers should get rid of her very un professional

Asked for a truffle to take away; waitress couldn't understand.
Asked for one truffle, a single truffle, still no response. Was about to point to truffles when a new member of staff told me, very loudly, not to be rude. Repeated that I was rude . When I suggested that not the way to act with customers, he was downright insolent.
I left and won't be returning, after 5 years of being a regular customer.
