Had an amazing experience at Samuel Pepys Coffee! The food was fantastic, with great vegetarian options that didn’t disappoint. We had two full plates and two coffees, and the total came to $67—great value for the quality and portion sizes.

The highlight, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive, and our waiter was absolutely hilarious, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. There’s also plenty of seating upstairs, so finding a spot isn’t an issue.

I also love how inclusive the menu is, catering to people with all types of dietary restrictions, which is a huge plus.

If I had to point out one small downside, it would be that the interior could use a bit of a refresh to make it feel cosier. Coming from an interior designer’s perspective, I think a little renovation would really elevate the space. But overall, a fantastic spot that I’d highly recommend!

Super, super lovely and friendly staff. Happy to help an indecisive tourist 😆. Waffles are definitely great, and the chicken & waffels look incredible. Recommend+++ a visit.

The coffee is nothing short of exceptional. I ordered a cappuccino, which was expertly crafted with a rich, velvety texture and a perfect balance of flavors. it's clear that the baristas take pride in their craft.
Great brunch menu and portions are quite large for the price and the taste is exceptional. Love the home made hash brown.

Top class delicious food. My wife is gluten intolerant and if you did not tell me it was gluten free I would not have picked it. Amazing food 100 gluten free.

Incredible little gem of a place. One of the best matcha I’ve tried 🍵. The waffle and the avocado toast were delicious. In addition, the staff is super fun and nice, we had a good laugh with them 🥰 recommend! Not your typical coffee place!

Stoked to find this place! A whole gluten free cafe and plenty of dairy free/vegan options too. Service was amazing - the people were so friendly and entertaining and the place had such a great fun vibe. I had waffles, which were dairy and gluten free (kind of rare to find). They were really good, except that the blueberries i had on them were clearly either frozen or tinned (i think frozen...) and didn't actually taste at all like blueberries.... very strange texture. Really let it down - fresh blueberries would have just made it incredible.
But, all in all if i lived here, it would definitely be my local and go to!!!
