Perfect destination to support local brands and and ending to the long weekend. Hip chill country vibe to enjoy with family, friends and the little ones 👌👌👌 definitely worth the drive from the city if you’re on holidays when it’s on

I have respect for the organisers going ahead with the festival this year, but the execution was very poor. Event managers clearly underestimated how many people would actually show up this year, resulting in long waits for shops, some not even having enough products to sell. Waiting in long queues for mediocre food was definitely not worth it, especially after paying an entrance fee. I hope the organisers can upscale the festival next year, otherwise the festival will continue to be lacking.

Great festival though hardly any genuine tastes of the Huon. Hardly a single apple in sight and no salmon. Just Salamanca Markets with more food and less crafts.

Great event, we go every year for the fantastic food and vibe. This year I tackled the biggest oyster I've ever had from Bruny Island

A great day out with such an array of locally grown & made food & drinks to feast on, stalls with fashion, jewellery, homewares, arts, crafts, gifts & local handiworks, helicopter rides, live music, kids' activities, entertainment & rides, Zorb balls, cooking demonstrations, talks & more! Bring a picnic blanket & a chiller bag or two to take home the region's finest gourmet goodies!

The wait of the Huon! Just rubbish, lined up for an hour after finally getting into the car park, a very half arsed un-organised affair, slow payment setup, got in and found more lines that we joined, 20 minutes and all we could do is smell food, the line was just doing nothing, tried another and another 20 minutes of no motion, just a joke, we politely left after wasting 2 hours on this pointless morning without a feed and were told to email Taste of Huon for a refund, what a joke, never got a reply to our email, will never go back to this event. We did find a nice feed at Cygnet though, Red Velvet Lounge saved the day.

Taste of the Huon was a disappointment today. Queues for parking. Waited in queues for an hour for food and that it would take a further 30 mins and they had stopped taking orders at 1:30. They provided a refund. Amenities not ample for the crowds. No access to tables, chairs and shade was limited. Which is hard with children. We left, and managed a partial refund. The website had also crashed for online tickets. They did not have the infrastructure to hand the crowds today. Unfortunately.

Nice festival. Great for people who find the taste a bit overwhelming. Good local showcase of what the huon amd surrounds has to offer.
Only small issue-Ticket never got emailed from online purchase but showing bank transaction of purchase was enough.
