We were in a van so can't comment on rooms. Lovely grass site, footsteps from the beach. Fantastic camp kitchen, free electric BBQs, toasters, microwave, electric cooktops, huge fridge, and the best fire with complimentary wood!.
Possibly the best caravan park we have stayed in. If visiting Hobart, this is a perfect spot, only 30 minutes to the city. Will definitely be back.

Booked a cabin for two nights while visiting relatives nearby. We only wanted a bed and didnt want to pay too much. Wasn't expecting too much for the price. Often they say you pay for what you get. Well we got that plus a lot more.||Let me explain. The cabins arent architecturally designed, they are simple structures, the interior is a mix of a 1970's style motel, updated to being functional. Thats NOT a negative, its simplistic and very clean, no 5 star style but complete with adequate heating, a fibreglass shower stall that has no grout lines that harbor nasties, so it was very clean. Hotwater was great and everything worked, a new bar fridge, a cooktop and microwave as well as coffee facilities, dinnerware and supplies, even a couple of packs of biscuits we souvenired for our flight home. ||The bed was great, firm and comfortable, no saggy mattress here. The sheets where clean and the towels were a lovely blue, more like home than a hospital. There was an electric blanket to keep us warm||Loved the little Xmas ornament that showed the management gives that little extra care. Although we arrived late and left early each day, so we only talked with them over the phone.||We were buffered by a very wild wind storm the first night and the cabin felt secure.||What else. It's a great budget stay comfortable and as you can tell we were impressed enough to write this review. Would stay again if need be.

UPDATE: so now I get an email explaining their terms and conditions! Yes I understand all that! BUT MY POINT IS…….to be told if she sells the site she will refund me the $50! My brother in law when called was told they had no power sites left. So obviously she sold the site……..I have no refund! You are a liar Amy despite what you want to call it. Everywhere is booked out at the moment, and I’m sure they were too!

The time in your voice when I called you and the the way you virtually laughed at me when I said you just told my brother in law you had no sites left, you need some training in customer service Amy. I’m sure you would live on site, but you told me you weren’t on site when I called you that’s why you had nothing to sell. You need to back up what you say! Another lie!

We were booked in here for three nights and hubby has done his back in Queenstown. I rang the morning when we were due to arrive and had to cancel as I can’t get him in the car. Amy told me she would still have to charge me one night unless she could sell the site. She charged my card the $50. I got my brother in law to call at 4pm and was told they had no powered sites left. I rang Amy back and she said no they had not sold the site and when I told her what my brother in law was just told, she very smartly told me they closed at 4 and they weren’t on site to sell anything.

She is a liar. They close at 5pm and I could also hear someone else in the back ground checking in people. Great service Amy. I hope you never have a medical mishap on your travels, and if you do you are treated the same as you treat your customers, with tone, attitude and you are a liar!

The staff are so lovely, the camp kitchen is great, no limit on showers you just need to mop them out when your done, the place is very scenic, not many shells if that is what you are looking for (which is what I look for) but for a complete relax it’s a great place to go. Our camp site fitted a 10 person tent and gazebo so we were happy.

Excellent caravan park. Well kept area and friendly staff. Amenities clean and not dated like others. Tavern did great steak and chip take away and snug falls was worth the walk. We stayed one night this week and would have happily stayed longer. Thankyou to the staff, we really enjoyed our stay !

Very friendly place. Generous hosts. My son’s favourite campsite in all of Tasmania!
Hosts were very forgiving when we hit our tennis ball into their yard, not just once but twice!
Thanks Brad and Amy for a lovely week near Hobart and for Xmas dinner

Nice caravan park and very close and accessible to the beach. A great spot for families and for children to play on the beach.|Close to supermarket. The shower and toilets are clean.|Big laundry and plenty of clothes lines.|Park is full of ducks

Stayed in the unpowered camping section and i can’t rate the property high enough. Location is perfect with beach access, owners are accomodating ( i booked in at very very short notice) facilities are above any i’ve stayed at across tasmania so far and there’s a lot. Laundry room has a coin change / card purchase facility which is super convenient! Highly recommend
