From the very first contact Rachel, our host, was super accommodating, personable and friendly. The room "Tulip" was very spacious and comfortable with plenty of room to accommodate 2 people. The shower was fantastic. The breakfast is continental with a wide choice of options and there is the option of cooked. At the last moment I needed to extend my reservation which I thought may have been a issue with the limited rooms. However Rachel had no problem keeping me in the same room. It was a lovely stay with the location slightly out of town but a beautiful walk along the river track is easy access to Wynyard and facilities.

We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. It’s a lovely spot with a very friendly staff who recommended many great places to visit. The house is peaceful, the price is reasonable, and the breakfast was amazing. Thank you for providing us with such a pleasant stay!

Lovely place the owners Rachel and Andy are so approachable and knowledgeable about Tasmania. Rachel especially went out of her way to give us advice. The cottage was very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing, can certainly recommend Alexandria to any travellers in the region

The host and her family are very friendly. I have been staying here regularly for years and never had a bad experience. The rooms are always clean, the breakfast always delicious. The location is very peaceful and it is a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed 4 nights to enable us to tour on a motorcycle the north west coast and the Tarkine. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, clean and tastefully renovated in character with the main house.
Rachel was an exceptional host, warm and friendly, it felt like we were visiting friends. The cooked breakfast was plentiful, good quality and tasty. Our continental breakfast was the best I've had with plenty of choice.
We enjoyed learning about the history of the house and family tree as well as some good laughter. Thanks for making our stay really enjoyable. Will definitely be passing on our good experience to family and friends. If we return again will be sure to stay.

The room I had was very nice with everything I needed. Breakfast delivered to my room was great. Rachel was so helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble for her. Alexandria House is in a beautiful setting with gorgeous gardens. The only downside was I only stayed one night I will definitely stay again
