After reading all of the fabulous reviews for this place, we booked four nights in the Red Room. All of our expectations were met. Irene welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know. Howard the gorgeous cat came to greet us too! Our room was beautifully presented and very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was generous and delicious. We even had a home cooked dinner on our last night which included one of the best apple pies I’ve tasted. I loved being able to meet and feed the highland cows, watch the hens free ranging with their baby chicks and walk around or just sit in the beautiful gardens. The location was a great base for exploring this beautiful part of Tasmania. Overall an unforgettable experience! Thank you Irene and Russ.

Well appointed room, comfortable bed, quiet (although we were the only ones there that night), and a great breakfast - much more than you will need but not more than you will want! Accommodating hosts, introduced us to the various animals on the property. Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I were travelling around Tassie in the swag. We are Tassie locals enjoying a week off. On the day we had walked Mount Roland and decided we needed a night in accommodation with a nice bed and a shower. All as I can say is it was better than I thought it would be. The room was luxurious and the bed so beautiful. Extremely comfortable for our one night stay. The breakfast was delicious and the wife of the house lovely to chat with over the home made breakfast. Highly recommend the smashed avocado. We had dinner at the RSL which I'd highly recommend. My only comment on arrival the husband comes across a bit grumpy however it could just be his humor.

We stayed here on our way to Cradle Mountain and in so glad we did. Such a beautiful place with so much to love. The garden, the adorable cows and chicken, the room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and super accommodating hosts. We were blown away by the incredibly delicious and filling home cooked breakfast that was included, which they made all vegan for my partner and I due to our prior request. If you’re thinking of staying here I would absolutely recommend you do.

We stayed in Glenco on our 1st night of holidays in Tasmania from Ireland. It was the highlight of all the places we stayed over 3 weeks. Glenco is in a lovely setting with a working farm with flowers, gardens, animals, green fields all around you. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast was 1st class, a real treat. We ate in a sunroom closely observed by a group of chickens. I would love to have stayed another day and night. Do arrive early and enjoy relaxing outside and walking the grounds.

Quirky B and B based at a farm. Comfy beds, amazing cooked breakfast . Lovely part of Tasmania. The Netflix was great to have as well. Not far from Sheffield which has a great RSL club for meals. We went to Cradle mountain day of checkout so wonderful to have a good stay

A wonderful home. Ideal for a B&B. The owners work hard to keep everything lovely. Breakfast was superb. Nice to see the Highland cows. The chooks and ducks roam freely. We really liked it.

Highly recommend this place! Our hosts Russ and Irene took such good care of us. We opted for a home cooked dinner, which was delicious. Breakfast was plentiful as well. It was a lot of fun interacting with the farm animals like chickens, ducks, lambs, cows, Howard the boss cat. Would definitely come back!
