We stay in the hedge cottage for 4 nights. Location is ideal for us as that is not far from CBD yet not busy. The set up in the cottage is nice. We have a wonderful time. Beds were comfortable and the washing machine and dryer were great. ||However if the shower an d toilet can separate that will be easier for group of friends like us.||We enjoy the wi-fi as some of my friends were from Hong Kong. ||They all enjoyed the space in the cottage

We stayed from 20/12/2014 - 29/12/2014, and I was delighted with my choice. The photos on the website don't do it justice - there's a lot of space, even with two large beds in the main room, and the kitchen area is very generous, with all the mod cons holiday makers could need. We slept in the king bed and it was very comfortable indeed. The parking space is a tad tight but not ridiculous once you learn the knack. The apartment's position gives a good view of the harbour and is a short drive to town or to Mt Wellington. Sophie's email responses were prompt and friendly, and I will gladly stay in this apartment again when we next return to Hobart.

A comfortable stay at Hedge Cottage. We were a party of 6 & spent 6 nights there. I was initially disappointed to only find bedding arranged for 5 but after making up the sofa bed in the lounge, all members of the group were comfortable. I agree with the comment by previous traveller that a separate toilet would make it much more user-friendly. The laundry facilities were excellent. Heating was ok.

We stayed in Hedge Cottage for 4 nights from 4th January. It was a lovely, homely cottage. It was very roomy for 3 of us. Myself, my husband and 13 year old daughter. We found it very clean and comfortable. It was a perfect base for our exploration of the south of Tassie. Close to the CBD, shops etc in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. I would not hesitate to stay here again. One small criticism is that there is no oven which I would miss if we were staying longer. Although, there is a microwave and hotplates. Many thanks Sophie for a lovely stay.

The View was fantastic. Only problem is the car park outside The View. Entering from the back lane was a bit tight with a Kia Carnival and the parking space was small and tight as we had to share with another staying at The Studio. Beautiful view of Hobart from the window. Facilities and host/hostess were excellent! My baby nephew had a great time at the apartment. Love it.

We stayed at "The Studio" at Belton Apt for 2 nights during Sept14. This building has 3 apartments and The Studio is on the ground floor and "The View" is right above us. There is easy off street parking and in a very quiet suburb. Only 5 mins drive from the main city centre. I cannot fault this studio apartment in terms of set up and facility. Nice kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge, dishwasher , even rice cooker. There is one queen size bed and one double bed and beds and pillows were very comfortable with electric blankets. The room can get a bit cool as there is 2 small heaters only but it didn't bothered us. The Studio also comes with washing machine and dryer. Our TV didn't work when we check in and someone came within 1.5 hours to fix it. This would have been a perfect place to stay except for the noise coming from the upstairs apartment.||||The noise insulation from upstairs is pretty poor as I believe they have floor boards. Every time someone walk around the apartment, we can near it. I believe for our 1st night stay, there were only adults in the apartment above us so we can hear non stop walking back and forth and squeaking of the floorboard but it was bearable. For our 2nd day stay, another family check in with kids and we hear non stop stomping, jumping, running and squeaking of the floorboard. It literally gave me a huge headache hearing these noise for hours. ||||To be fair, , if the owner can do something about the noise insulation from upstairs, this will be a perfect place. Maybe they can consider putting in carpet upstairs and see if it can reduce the noise.

We can't thank Sophie enough for providing such fantastic accommodation at Belton Apartments. We had all three apartments to accommodate 13 ladies on a weekend away. The apartments were clean, modern, and very comfortable.||||Sophie was so helpful with all our questions before getting there, and was able to give us a late check out on one of the apartments, which meant we could leave our bags and do a few extra things before heading to the airport. ||||The apartments are really close to the centre of Hobart, literally a half hour walk, or just a $10 cab ride one way. Our experience in Hobart was fantastic over all, and the apartments really were fantastic value for money. Thanks again, we'll be back!

We were in the process of relocating to Hobart and we needed a place to stay, along with our two dogs, while we waited for our furniture to arrive. We booked and stayed in the "Hedge Cottage". We were happy to find this place especially because we needed a place that was pet friendly and we also needed a place we could stay for several days (8 for us).||The cottage is very cute and steeped with charm, character and period features. There are plenty of beds with a queen in one room and a double and single in the second bedroom. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge. There is a full sized kitchen with dishwasher and full sized fridge which was great for our long stay. However, there is only a cooktop but no oven, which we found as a down side. There is a convection/microwave but by the time it takes you to figure out how to use it your stay is over.||Now, we also stayed at the officially beginning of winter here in Hobart and it was rather chilly on some of the nights and days. The problem with the accommodation is with the heating arrangements for the cottage are not adequate in our view. The bathroom is only heated by four heat lamps and the globes that are currently in the fixture give off no heat. I'm not sure they were proper heat globes.so, basically the bathroom was an icebox during our entire stay.||There is a reverse cycle heat pump in the kitchen but even with it running all the time it was never going to heat the whole cottage. And it didn't. There were two portable oil heaters. Unfortunately, because we didn't use the second bedroom we didn't realize there was a second oil heater tucked away in the corner. The one oil heater, which was in the lounge room, we did use did not work properly or maybe we didn't know how to make it work right either way we were grateful for the heat we got from the heater. There are electric blankets on the beds which you definitely need if staying here in the winter.||The television was basic free to air programming which is adequate and there was a dvd player provided. As for the wi-fi, the owners do provide free wi-fi but with a daily download limit. I will say that after contacting the owners they told us that as long as we didn't download huge files and used the net within reasonable limits they would not charge us any excess usage fees, which they didn't.||Overall, we really did like our stay at "Hedge Cottage" and we would have rated it higher than three stars except for the issues I raised above. Would we stay again? YES...
