This spot is truly a hidden treasure. At first glance, it may not seem like much, but the food and service are exceptional. It’s no surprise that it’s always buzzing with breakfast patrons—the quality of both the dishes and service is outstanding.

During our four-night stay in Hobart, we found ourselves enjoying breakfast and dinner here on three consecutive days. The pancakes were delightful, and the fruit salad paired with yogurt and honey was equally good. We also loved the hearty big breakfast. Awesome coffee too.

For dinner, we indulged in the spaghetti al vongole, veal cotoletta, spaghetti marinara, and Italian meatballs—each dish bursting with authentic Italian flavor. It was a fantastic experience!

A special thanks to Grace, who took care of us during breakfast, and young Valeria, who served us at dinner. Both were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming.

The food is delicious and well-presented. I had the famous Tasmanian scallops, which were amazing. The prices are a bit high, but the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Great cafe/restaurant. Just around the corner from our hotel, this became our 'local' cafe. Great coffee and food; and they deliver to local hotels and charge to your room. We had a number of breakfasts this way; awesome Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs and the best bacon I've had in a long time! Very friendly staff.

We had a 10% discount offer for this cafe, so we went to try it out one Saturday morning for breakfast. The staff were very efficient & accommodating, we had a window seat upstairs with a pleasant view. Food was average, as was coffee. We just had a roll each from the cabinet. Mine was freshly made as I requested a vegetarian option.

Homey style cafe and food, perfectly located access the roads from the Mona ferry terminal, I suspect most of the customers eat here before catching the ferry. I ordered the salmon scramble and was a bit underwhelmed with the presentation but was surprised that it actually tasted good and again, very homey. The only complaint is that it was supposed to come with sourdough but instead we were both served white bread.

The cafe has a great view for Harbour in both first and second floor . Customer service is professional and welcoming .

For the food , we ordered scallops pie with salad , Waguu beef with fries and pizza . The scallop pie was a bit disappointing cause I did expect more from it as heard it’s a specialty from Tassie . It’s scallop in curry sauce. Waguu beef Pattie is not hot enough . Pizza is delicious although a bit oily for my taste .

Great place for breakfast in the heart of the docks and next to the Salamanca area. On a recent stay in Hobart we went for breakfast each day as my wife is a ceoliac and they are excellent with the understanding of that. . Nice unpretentious place with good choices at the right price highly recommend.

Decent place to have breakfast or lunch if you want tasty classics. The interior is a bit worn out . Good to sit outside when the weather is good. Staff is very nice.
