Upon arrival we were greeted but there was confusion about our booking.
We were shown to our table with no further instructions on how to order or where to gather cutlery.
Food came out quickly but lacked any flavour.
The margaritas were tasty, but we saw one of the staff members use their hands to get the dried lime out of the jar (which was left open) without tongs after scratching her leg.
The staff weren't rude, but the service was lacking any effort.
We found our experience not worthy of the price we paid.

Very nice place, the food is abundant and delicious. Different drinks and a long list in which you could be trying them all night. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I would go again with all my friends

Best place in town by far. Chilled relaxed atmosphere with friendly wait staff. Has a great vibe backed up by gear Mexican food and awesome cocktails. Live music added to the atmosphere. Order at the table via app and drinks and food magically arrive. Great array of tequila based cocktails. So happy to see a place make a good Caipirinha, took me back to South America. We ordered the 4 tacos which were tasty and filling. Must have the salsa Roja.

Fabulous Mexican creative menu with fresh and delish food. Great margaritas and bev menu. Casual indoor & outdoor dining. Perfect for everyone, including behaved dogs on leash in courtyard. Friendly staff and well worth a visit.

Went for an early dinner. The outside setting was nice with the sunset. Food was okay but not impressive considering price - slightly bland. Guac was good. Cocktails were good. Service was mediocre and unfriendly - mentioned the prices being more expensive than on the menu and received a defensive response about how old the menu’s were.

Great setting & healthy...ish Mexican but not traditional Mexican. Prices are reasonable and the food is freeesh! Liquor prices are good though I think we’re all sick to death of expecting that we’ll earned glass of red or white & copping 200cls. Mind you, this’s been a wonderful windfall for both the respective governments & the proprietors of these fine establishments & certainly addresses the responsible service of alcohol but to me, it’s like someone sticking their finger up at you & saying, “that’s all you can have”! La Costa, consider BYO & charge a reasonable corkage.
I went for the pseudo seafood basket. Healthy? Maybe not but fresh? Yes!
Much more can be done to improve the experience, both from service & customer engagement (which is minimal) to menu variety but it’s worth a visit! You be the judge.

On arrival we were told that someone ( god knows!) had cancelled our booking so we would have to sit out back in the rear room that smelled like urine and had furniture covered in blankets. We had asked for a table out front but were told nothing was available. In the meantime all the tables around us were moved out front. WT Hell! It gets better. 3 of our margaritas had no alcohol in them. They were taken away to be replaced but then some bloke came by to tell us that the owner decided there was nothing wrong with them and we could have the original drinks back. WT Hell 2! So, next time you are in Crescent Heads do yourself a favour go to the Country Club. Great people, great prices and no rip offs.

We read some mixed reviews so we decided to see for ourselves and we were very impressed! The staff were lovely, the food was delicious! We had the chicken nachos supreme (it was massive!) & grilled barramundi bowl (delicious) and they both looked and tasted great! Extensive drinks menu and plenty of food options. Highly recommend ?
