What a wonderful experience dining in this beautiful venue. My son, with his wife and my two grand children gave me a dinner here last night. The childrens’ meals were delivered in a timely manner and they had barely started colouring with the fun complimentary colouring when they received a yummy fish and chip basket each.
The adults had share plates with a really tasty fresh salad: nicely dressed and presented. The jalepeno cheese bites left us wanting more. Tender tender lamb skewers were a hot favourite, as were the bao buns which had delicious pork drizzled with hoisin sauce. It is well worth dropping in and having a sense of modern decor while watching the world go by through large windows.Thank you for a memorable visit.✨

Beers are ok. Nothing to rave about. A few nice ones and some average beers. I wouldn’t pick the Trouble Maker. The Old Mate I think was probably more like a stout than a porter but that’s an individual taste.
The food was a bit pricey but ok. The burrito bowl with chicken was very nice. The chicken tenders we’re not sure.

Such a gem of a place to have in Burnie. A lovely place to have casual drinks with friends and listen to live music, having dinner with your family on a special occasion, soak up the sun out in the beer garden! So many different options of food there’s something for everyone. My only one complaint is the sauces are a little niche for me I would love the option of just normal gravy with my schnitty. Great cocktail and mocktail options. I can’t remember exactly what it’s called but I had a delicious mango mocktail. I also tried the fish fingers, flat iron steak and chicken schnitzel, all were very delicious and I highly enjoyed! Steak was cooked perfectly and so tender. A must go to in Burnie for sure. Love the convenience of being able to order from your table too! Very happy

If I could give Communion more stars I would! The staff make you feel like a friend from the moment you step through the door, cheerful, helpful, friendly and funny. They helped us choose drinks we would like, food we would enjoy (and checked to make sure we were) and the added touch of card, photo and dessert to celebrate our anniversary with us were a sweet touch. We will be back for many more celebrations and casual lunches and dinners. Well done!

Absolutely amazing experience at communion. The staff were warm and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Food was top notch. We got the chicken wings, the beef dip sandwich and the rum bananas for dessert. If you are anywhere near communion I HIGHLY recommend stopping in. 37.8/10

If you haven't been here yet, you want to come and give it a go, the food was great, their own brewed beverages are tasty and fresh. It best if all is their service.
Young Josie served us and she was outstanding. For a very young lady she was super engaging, helpful and very friendly. Because of her outstanding service, I believe they are a 5 Star establishment.

Thanks Team.

Beer is good but food is underwhelming and overpriced. $27 for this…just go to hungry jack next door and youll have a much better meal

One of the best meals I've had in years. That beat all my favourite pub feeds, restaurants, fancy pants fine dining.. the lot. That filled my tank, charged my battery, nourished my soul. I don't even want to brush my teeth.. for the phantom remnants of flavour and goodness that lingers still, brings tears to my eyes. Thank you! That was delicious.

You legends are literally improving the quality of life of all who are lucky enough to live nearby. We will go out of our way to come back to Burnie just to eat here again.

Service and atmosphere were top notch as well.. warm attentive staff, charming booths, restaurant tables, high top bar tables, chill lounge areas, really nice space for all kinds of groups.. good music, not to loud, not to quiet.. good lighting, fireplace.. everything is just perfect.

Grateful we came, and jealous you're not our local! Cheers ❤️

P.S We had a couple of the Oktoberfest specials (middle two) and the sliced beef roll with red wine sauce off the main menu.. and the best spicy marg we've ever had.
